skinsfan07
His previous was 65 in his rookie season with Denver. Imagine if he still was speedy, he would have housed that easily. Nonetheless, a 78 yard run is impressive, especially considering he's on the "downside" of his career, and had a bum ankle heading into the game. I was just real happy to see his burst that run open. It would have been nice if he cut back and scored though. Imagine how much better and fresher Portis would be with a good spell back.......Alridge anyone??? Anyways yea Sellers would have finished his block, but Portis pushed him to try and knock the defender down, but Sellers instead dove at his knees and missed.

Soup
I think portis is 6th or 7th in rushing yards if I'm not wrong. I think he has 450 yards in 6 games.

2 and 14
Troll GTFO. 2-14 srsly? wow. Not trolling. That's an honest prediction. He's busted up every week... has been having injury problems for the last few years. We have no offensive line and nobody to share the load. He won't finish the season. skins84
There was no burst on that run... Portis looks like a fullback running the ball...
MrButz65
Portis is WAY overrated. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.

But right off the snap, he def did burst through the hole.

It's a positive thread giving a small celebration to CP breaking the longest run of his career. There are plenty of threads for you to vent on, this isn't one of them.. CPAllTheWay012
Why was he running as fast as Sellers?Good run nonetheless. He wasn't going full speed, he was just following Sellers since he got out in front. Portis did basically everything correct on that run. It sucks that Sellers couldn't get the last guy and that Portis didn't try to cut it back, but he's never been that kind of runner... even in Denver. He's normally a straight line guy once he gets into the open field with not too many jukes/cutbacks.

WTF happened to Sellers? We gave him that extension and he got lazy. For the past few years, he's easily been the best blockng fb in the nfc. Touch of Class 17
Why he didn't cut it back is beyond me. It just speak to an overall lack of hunger for the touch down. If he cuts back, or even fakes like he's gonna cutback he scores easily.
