addicted
Ok so I was at Mayhem (Slayer/Marylln Manson) last weekend and ended up winning two tickets to see a band called "Atomic Punks" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmVjGotIP5Y They are a Van Halen 1980's tribute band. They looked, sounded, and acted like old 80's Van Halen. They were great! The opening act was another tribute band called Guns 4 Roses http://www.guns4roses.com/index.php Who was truely amazing. It's been 17 years since I saw Guns and Roses at RFK Stadium live and seeing them act, sound, and look like GNR knowing I'd never get to see them ever again helped me to get really into the show. They were the best tribute band I'd ever seen before. So this gets me thinking...are there any other tribute bands that you'd recommend checking out if they are in the area? Thanks

I was at the RFK show as well. Good stuff, although Metallica was certainly better that day.
Spaceman Spiff
I heard Badfish is really good. They're a Sublime tribute band.
#98QBKiller
BadFish is a great Sublime tribute band, the singer has the exact voice of Bradley Nowell. Also, Who's Bad is a really good Michael Jackson tribute band. They've been around way before he passed away and they cover everything from Jackson Five to his solo stuff. Koolblue13
Sabra Cadabra is the greatest tribute band in the world. I've hung with the Ozzy dude. Has the same tattoos and every thing.

Those guys have the same tats, same haircuts and play the same name brand of instruments as the original Sabbath.
