The Villi Phanatic
Henderson's a good pick. He stepped his game up big time this past season. Best talents still available are Teague and Sam Young with guys like Lawson, Blair, and James Johnson just behind.

MattFancy
Major reach here....Hansborough Nah I don't think so. Good move for the Pacers. Hansbrough will contribute solid minutes and be a really solid player. I don't think he'll be a superstar, but he should be very good off the bench. The Villi Phanatic
Wow, this early for Hansborough? I don't think he'll be a bust per se, but I don't see much upside there. I'm thinking similar to Joakim Noah.

Predicto
I dunno, does it seem to anyone else that the Pacers sort of, um, think they know what "kind" of player their fans want to root for? That is why the Warriors were able to unload Mike Dunleavy and Troy Murphy on them. Eh, maybe not. :whoknows:

DieselPwr44
I dunno, does it seem to anyone else that the Pacers sort of, um, think they know what "kind" of player their fans want to root for? : I grew up as a big Larry Bird fan. One of the all time greats. But after the last few drafts he's been in charge of, I'm starting to wonder if he's another "Great basketball player but lousy judge of talent." Of course in his defense though, it's hard to draft premier talent when you're stuck in the mediocre zone(13-21) year after year.
ixcuincle
Pacers drafted Georgetown icon Roy Hibbert last year...how did he do this year Bulls drafting, pick James Johnson.

Of course in his defense though, it's hard to draft premier talent when you're stuck in the mediocre zone(13-21) year after year. I have no problem with the Larry Birds. Fantastic talent. It's the "big mediocre white guy that our white fans will buy tickets to root for" that I have problems with. Like I said, I have no proof that this is why they just drafted Haynesborough. But I suspect it, at least a little.
frankbones
Pacers drafted Georgetown icon Roy Hibbert last year...how did he do this yearBulls drafting, pick James Johnson. Didn't see the Pacers much, but judging from the #'s not great to average. He could still develop into a decent center. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/stats?playerId=3436
