Obvious problems:

No GSS patch.

Jersey is not customized at the hem as Lavar had his actual 2003 game jersey customized (note the missing jock tag):

Also, the burgundy Arrington has skill position sleeves while the white one has lineman sleeves.

Hi guys, I'm sort of new to this board but an old lurker; and an avid jersey collector. I saw that jersey listed on Ebay a few days ago and red flags came out immediately. Everything about it is all so wrong. A year or so ago two Landry jerseys were sold through NFL auctions. The jerseys weren’t game issued. They were jerseys from a previous season used as a rookie premier jersey. One of the jerseys was sold on Ebay. I know this for a fact because the guy who sold it is a buddy of mines. It appears the second jersey was sold too. This could be one of those jerseys. It’s no way game issued. Good call Mark. Looks like the guy was flooded with messages and decided to end the auction

And that's completely understandable. The purpose of this thread is to expose those who might be trying to pawn off a fake jersey (which cost like $35 as you said) upon unsuspecting people and charging them ridiculous amounts.:eaglesuck

Same here, as long as its not obviously fake I don't really care. I've bought 3 jerseys off ebay and all of them look pretty good. I got a Moss jersey from there and I know its not authentic because the sleeves aren't screened on, but other than that it looks pretty solid. Now if I get a jersey of there and the guys name is spelled wrong or its not the right color, then I'll be angry

Like I said in post #20, I believe this jersey came from the guy in Wisconsin. He had 3 for sale on ebay.

Another interesting point about these is that they are 04-46 labeled jerseys...prior to remembering taking the neck tag off...yet the numbers are constructed like the current ones with a thin strip of gold atop the perimeter of the white number. The true 04 jerseys have the old style with a complete white number atop a complete gold number.

The sleeves are 04 sleeves though. Could have been 04 blanks at the Ripon factory.

If someone really wants a game worn jersey, try going to the tent sale(or whatever they are calling it these days). the game jerseys are pretty cool, different tho. they always have plenty of game worn/issued jerseys and you can get some unknown players jerseys for about $100(i forget exact prices). its the best way to ensure you get a real gamer. you can get the big name players too but they are going to cost you. Also, I was working at training camp 2 years ago and they had gamer jerseys on sale in the big tent at the entrance.

I have to tell you, I was at the last Tent Sale, and from what I saw, there wasn't a single jersey (NNOB or anything) for sale for less then $200. The Danster was definitely trying to pull every ounce of cash out of us fans this past sale.

Training Camp I don't know, but it seems like Mark Haynes actually got all of the remaining 'Skins inventory that JO didn't want from this past tent sale. If anyone wants his email address, just PM me. I had just missed out on a Mike Sellers NON Game Worn for $250 from him, which at the sale was selling for $600 - and I tried to haggle them down to $400 and they wouldn't budge.

lol this is laughable. The funniest thing is he wants $279.

This is such a POS, it's not even worthy of post #1.

The seller claims this jersey is "game worn" and it's one of his "best." Hahha, I'd like to see his worst just for amusement purposes.

It's an Adidas jersey. The number font is wrong and I think it was pressed. He took a reebok NFL shield and attached it to the front. He removed the jock tag. He added a fake "21" patch and a fake 75th anni patch, and he used the wrong 75th anni patch (should be white). Cerimele never made the Redskins roster. In fact, the Redskins dumped him a week before the first preseason game in 2001.

This Frerotte jersey might be a retail jersey, but it's not a game jersey, evidenced by the varsity letter font which was discontinued by the time Frerotte joined the team.

I question whether the below Arrington jersey is game used. This was back in '04 when the team re-used jerseys for multiple games. Arrington's game used jersey should have some signs of wear such as team repairs. Also, as the seller clearly shows, Arrington's game worn jersey is customized at the hem, losing the jock tag in the process. The one being sold is not customized. It's probably a team-issued jersey, never worn.
