The Mayor of Fed Ex Field
A good friend of mine just saw Shaun Alexander at a local UPS store picking up some packages. I know alot of Redskins stay in the area, but they usually play more than 4 games with us. I know we have a mini camp coming up. Do you guys think he was invited? What else would he be doing here? And it was no doubt, 100% precent Shaun Alexander. Figured this was some what thread worthy.
SonOfWashington
Well this spells the end for Portis.
RocketCitySkins
Well this means the end for Portis. Or maybe for Betts.
Ray Brown
no way he makes the 53 man roster. he was awful in his short stint here last year. zorn needs to cut ties with all these ex hawks
RemoveSnyder
old horse might have a few more gallops left in him. I'm always hoping we can get another Gerald Riggs. Hey what's Gerald Riggs up to these days? Ha. Kidding
Metalhead387
He moved his entire family here when we picked him up last season. I doubt he would just up and move them back so soon. He will not be on another NFL team.

SMU Redskin
I would hope that we would go younger, not older with our RBs. Portis isn't getting any younger, that's for sure.
usapatriot
No, please no more. I thought we got over the ex-Seahawks phase. He's old and used up. If we're going to get anyone else at RB it should be Marcus Mason.
Laxpunk2006
Probably just living in the area. I wouldn't hate it if we brought him to camp. I don't think he has anything left but if by some miracle he did it couldn't hurt.
Soup
Are you sure it wasn't TIKI Barber? I know a lot of players after playing for the redskins like the area and stay but it is odd to read that Shaun Alexander is around here. That was a waste of a roster spot when the skins signed him. Tenjikuronin
Yup, think about it. Seattle of DC? Pouring down rain or cherry blossums? The comparison doesn't quite work, as there are cherry blossoms in the Seattle Area as well, and the DC area gets more annual rain than Seattle does (39.3 inches/ 99 centimeters for DC compared to 36 inches for Seattle).... G.A.C.O.L.B.
He spent just enough time here to realize exactly how much the DMV ****s on Seattle. Seattle, lol.
TheLongshot
I think he just lives in the area. He had shown up earlier this offseason at Redskins Park. It doesn't mean much.

Peeping Wizard
Shaun has made enough money to live wherever he wants. Maybe he or his family liked it here and just wanted to stay. It wouldn't be the first time. Maybe his wife/kids liked our schools better, etc.
