Actually I said "ghey". But whatev.

I think its funny the guy is getting on me for thinking soccer sucks, yet he is saying the very same things about baseball. But like I said, at least most male sports fans (in this country) don't give a crap about soccer, and share the same opinion of it as I do.

Well, you will see a shift over the next couple decades. When the majority of American born players can't make it on a baseball roster. Baseball is quickly becoming an old mans game. Soccer, on the other hand, is a young mans game. More and more young kids are embracing soccer. Baseball may rank higher in the 18-35 bracket today, but it is dwarfed by soccer in the 5-18 bracket.

As to soccer being boring, you obviously never played it. There is no break in the action, no timeouts (TV or team called), no breaks between quarters. There is the opening whistle, halftime, and the closing whistle. 45 minutes of non-stop game, 15 minutes of rehydration/strategy adjustments, 45 minutes of non-stop action.
