2009 Draft prospects as of the Bye

In Order of NEED

1. OLB - We need to draft a replacement for Marcus Washington.

2. OL - We need help at all 5 line spots both for depth and future starters.

3. DT- We need someone that can consistently push the pocket and take some pressure off of AC and JT...

If we resign Hall, than this is pretty much dead on.

OLB is a huge weakness for us, as is overall LB depth.

I feel confident that this team is going to go after Angelo Crowell in FA to replace Marcus. I also feel that Jansen, Thomas, and Springs are going to be let go as is possibly Griffin. Just makes too much sense...Knows the system, will be cheap, fairly young, very solid...

I also feel we may make a push for Haynesworth, especially if we feel that there is going to be the uncapped season.

I think we have 4 picks in this draft (1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th)

I would try to do exactly what people are suggesting with breaking that 1st and 3rd into 2 2nd round picks. This is not a deep DT class so I don't see many getting taken Round 1 and I have a feeling we are going to see at least Herman Johnson lying around in Round 2.

With the final 2 picks, I would want to find a speedy RB for big plays like the Giants have found theirs in Bradshaw. I also want another LB taken for depth purposes.
