livy200118 Posted November 5, 2008 Share Posted November 5, 2008 We took a cab to the lot where the truck was towed to check it out and then we had to take a cab to the Baltimore/Washington airport to rent a car to the tune of $220.00 one way back to Richmond. A fire is still a fire until you can run your fingers through it. Bad luck to those who lost their cars, but since it was in all the news, hopefully you should not have any problems with insurance. iMeast Posted November 6, 2008 Share Posted November 6, 2008 Someone -- one person whose sport-utility vehicle was burned said she suspects it was a Steelers fan -- placed a grill full of hot charcoal in the trunk of a car before going into the stadium, sparking a fire that destroyed eight vehicles and damaged one or two others. I don't know any names or anything but my dad was saying this his coworker told him that it was a hybrid car so it exploded the electric battery.
