Zorn's presser: His need for self-improvement

I'm surprised nobody has brought up how Zorn handled his post-game conference. I loved hearing him talk about how he needs to look at what he can do better and how he needs to improve. He beat up on himself again for his handling of the last few minutes of the Giant game, implied he'd learned from that, and Zorn indicated that there are other ways he needs to improve. Way to go, Zorny, on not letting the early success go to your head and setting the tone for the team that everyone needs to stay grounded and look how to improve even further!

That seems to be consistent with him thus far. He seems to always want to improve, which is good. We have played well of late, but there have been some areas that need improvement. That's how you keep winning, and it's nice to hear.

This is what you are hoping from a new coach. Zorn is hungry and wants to build his name. You get more risk with a first time head coach, but you also get more fire than you do with a guy that has been through the fires many times like a Coughlin, Gibbs, Schottenheimer, or even a Spurrier.

So far, so good with Zorn. I do expect a few hiccups though and let's be mindful when that happens that he is a rookie.

Zorn continues to impress me. He has stepped up to the challenge much better than I thought so soon. I thought we would see where he is now much later in the season. I'm really happy about the direction this team is going in.

He is keeping the team grounded as well. How many times during Norv's years did the team think they were better than they really were?
