Spaceman Spiff
Has anyone here purchased an unlocked iphone and then put it on their carriers signal? I have Verizon and I'm thinking about doing this. Just want to hear from some people as to how well it's worked for them.
Drockvb
My wifey did it. We have T-mobile, and it works like a charm. T-mobile even has an unlocked iphone support service that just deals with the iphones.
I_Bleed_B&G
It won't work on Verizon. The iPhone uses GSM technology. Verizon uses CDMA. 2 different networks plus GSM phones take SIM cards. If you had T-mobile it would work since they use GSM technology.

DCranon21
I was thinking about it, but I have Sprint. I'm not sure if Sprint has GSM technology.
ChocolateCitySkin
you can only do it with t-mobile -- i thought about doing it... instead got the shadow -- regret it now.
Zen-like Todd
Sprint and Verizon are CDMA. Of the major carriers, you are stuck with ATT or T-Mobile. BTW, in just over a month or so, Apple is going to be launching all new 3G iPhones, so I highly that suggest anyone considering snagging one just sit on their hands for the next few weeks.
