SKINFAN23
I wanted to get your alls opinion. If the Redskins are out of the playoffs come our last game vs Dallas, would it be the right thing to do to let Mark Brunell play? He has done a lot of good as a Redskin and it would be most likely his last chance to play football in the NFL again. I say let him play one more time. He deserves it. He has been an escape goat for this team long enough. RIP SEAN TAYLOR

Silencer6091
...ummmm....no ...even tho, I thank him for a playoff season, he hasn't left much of a legacy here...it would've been different if this was jacksonville.

He had his chance here and as much as I appreciate him leading us to the playoffs in '05, I don't think he deserves it. Not here.
Larry Brown #43
I refuse to even consider the possibility of us being out of the playoffs until that time comes.
GaryGreenMonk
Tom Collins has waited 10 years to play. Brunell had a good run of it already. I think TC deserves to finish out the season however it goes.
youngestson
If we're out of the picture by the dallas game I don't think there would be all that much of a burning desire on the part of Brunell to get garbage time after a very respectable NFL career. Keep him around, but give him a whistle and polyester shorts for his new career in coaching.
ST is my boy
I refuse to even consider the possibility of us being out of the playoffs until that time comes. Haha I was thinkin the same thing... Anyway....nahh...I dont see any reason to play Mark. I thank him for what he did for this team....but even if we do lose to minnesota(we better not), it would still be nice to beat dallas....and I dont think playing Mark would allow us to do that considering he hasnt played a game all year. SonOfWashington
Maybe if it wasn't Dallas. I want nothing but the best available to beat the Cowboys.

BuryYourDuke
I understand that this was your first post, so I'm going to assume that you don't know how much people on here HATE Mark Brunell, on an almost personal level. I don't, but lots of people here do. So don't expect anyone to agree with you on this topic. I understand what you are saying, but it's not really the right thing to do at this point, playing him. mcarey032
Have you completely lost control of your good senses man? The only way that Brunell should be in there is if Collins is hurt. There should be no reason that Brunell is going in over collins.
SkinsJackpot
Mark should not play. This is a business and we should try to win every game. Mark does not do that for us. If it was college yes but the NFL no.
CM916
When we are up 42-10, he can come in and finish the game. He's earned that. Then again, when we had SBXXII in the bag and stopped running the offense, we didn't let Schroeder take any consolation snaps. Although I beleive Brunell is a lot more popular with the team than he ever was.
hoskins
Although I beleive Brunell is a lot more popular with the team than he ever was. That's an understatement! I think being up 42-10, the Hogs would have just stepped aside and let the Broncos sack Schroeder 5-6 time. Or whatever it took.
doom44
Brunell's time has come and gone. He needs to offset the sports caster imbalance and go work for the 4letter. Maybe he can get them to fire Emmit "twisted toungue" Smith.
