luke1867
Before people start making unthoughtful comments, watch the other QBs in the same situation. People act like all of a sudden Campbell should be God. The one game where his OL could not protect a fly, people go from "JC is the franchise QB" to "JC is horrible". This forum must be filled with girls or kids whose minds change like the wind. A very telling observation about how important the OL is to a QB is the situation where the Redskins got Brady to fumble yesterday. He is not a god. In the only time the defense got to him, he fumbled in the exact same way Campbell did yesterday. So much for all that rubbish that people say about "feeling the pressure". A good pocket passer always keeps his eye downfield. All Qbs are thought to do so. You put trust in your OL and keep your eyes downfield when passing. Todd Wade and co did a horrible job yesterday yet people are trying to give him a pass to the detriment of JC. Common now? On multiple occassions, Vrabel rounded both Wade & Portis on the block to get to JC. On another occasion, he passed in between three blockers to get to JC. What on earth is that? The other team players have to do their part. Campbell is not gonna block for himself and throw at the same time. Brady is not any faster than Campbell. Infact, Campbell is a lot faster than Brady. But as passers in the pocket their mobility is similar. They move with a first mentality to throw. Brady had way too much time in the pocket, and in all occasions, he always seem not concerned about the possiblity of someone closing in on him. THat's what you call "full trust" in his protectors/O-line. Put Campbell behind that OL and it's a different story. I'm certain of it.

Wade and Sellers didn't really have a great game and I give CP credit for doing the best he could with throwing his body at the defenders coming for JC. We are still hurting with the loss of Jansen on pass protection on that side and Thomas on at least have the ability to run to the right side. ejay183
Campbell trusted his O-Line last season, I mean who wouldnt, they were mauling people. This year, with the injuries, his trust isnt as strong.

Lombardi's_kid_brother
Truth be told, Brady IS a fumbler. He averages 10 fumbles a year. When he gets hit, he has a tendency to put it on the ground. That's his one true "weakness." On the other hand, he is Tom Brady and is therefore allowed to have a weakness. Jason Campbell is not. At least not yet.

Redskin4ever
Brady fumbled once and that was it. Give credit to Brady for being able to recognize the pressure and step up and protect the ball when defenders were close. Also, credit the Patriots coaches and O-Line for protecting Brady after that. The skins just let guys come free on Campbell. He would feel the pressure but not protect the ball. That's the difference between a young QB and a banged up line, versus a veteran superstar QB and a cohesive O-Line.

Kelvin Bryant
It's true that Brady's fumble looked a lot like some of Campbell's. It's also true that Brady scored 5 touchdowns and had one turnover, and that Campbell had 5 turnovers and scored one touchdown.

ez2envy
Brady fubled while trying to throw the ball, JCamp lost 2 from just not "feeling" where the presure was coming from, so 1 of his fumbles were similar to Bradys. But u act like this is his 1st time fumbling, campbell has been fumblin that ball all season,

Duncan
Brady is not any faster than Campbell. When you can read a defense so fast you can get rid of the ball in three seconds you don't need to have a better 40 time. Jason had a bad game. It happens.
