REDSKINZ-RIDEORDIE
They still dont scare me. Me neither, I want to see them test our secondary and one of our Area 51 members drives one of their WRs 35 feet beneath the field. I KNOW our D is fired up for this game!!!!!!!! LETS GO!!!!! PISS ON THE PATS!!!!!!

elkabong82
New England has beaten the Jets, San Diego, Buffalo, Cincinatti, Cleveland, Dallas, and Miami. None of those teams has a very good pass defense, so NE has been running the scoreboard up early (excpet with Dallas where it was close after the first half). This means the opposing offenses have been forced to into trying big pass plays in order to catch up. NE goes into prevent, the other team can't catch up, that's the ball game. Their offense skews their defensive statitics. When broken down, NE has actually given up big games to several WRs (Braylon Edwards and TJ Housh. both gained 100 yards receiving) despite the team overall scoring 14-17 points. NE has also been performing subpar in run defense. I'd honestly venture to say that after we play New England, Green Bay will still be the best D we've faced so far, as their D produced turnovers to win them the game. laurent
It's tough to judge the Patriots defense because how well the offense has performed. On the one hand you could argue that they're overated because of whom they played and the fact that they haven't had to deal with balanced attacks with teams having to play catchup so much. On the other hand the Patriots have a track record of fielding good defensive units year in and year out, so it's hard to argue that they're not one of the better defenses once again. They're physically imposing, but at the same time I think they're somewhat long in the tooth and lack overall team speed. With a healthy offensive line and a heavy dose of the running game they could be had. How well we do against them will come down to how well we play them up front. drowland
Well they have given up over 6 yards a carry in both of the last 2 games. Regardless of how or when. Part of that is they get out to such big leads, that by the 2nd half they just stay in a nickel defense the rest of the way. They'll let you run since it just keeps the clock moving.
