haraldjun
Would Reagor DT from the Colts be a good addition to our DT rotation?
RWJ
I'd rather we sign Ian Scott. He is only 25yrs. old and I think is only going to get better.
bschurm
It would concern me since the colts rush defense was one of the worst in the NFL during the regular season. Until they traded for Booger McFarland they stunk. Even then, it was not until the playoffs that they actually were able to stop the run consistently. RyansRangers
I think his only value is for depth but he probably is an upgrade to salaave

bulldog
the Bears run D slipped noticeably after Harris went out and Scott went in. Maybe there is a reason Chicago wasn't tripping over themselves to resign him?
HEavyJumbo85
if he was willing to become a situational 3rd down pass rushing Defensive Tackle I'd sign him. But if he wants any substantial amount of money or to be an every down guy, forget about it. Old and small, but he can get after the QB.

Muzzah
No... I'd rather have Golston in there... He was able to push people back ect last year... I think Golston is going to have a break out year

Slateman
Both Reagor and Scott are pass rushing type DTs. Golsten is pretty good at that as is Griffin when healthy. We need some pass rushing defensive ends and a big run stuffing DT.
azmodeus13
We don't need another DT under 300lbs:2cents: Amen! :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: Another little tackle puts us right back to where we were last year. We need to get a big ole slobberknocker who can pound a guard into submission all day long.... Get someone who DEMANDS double teams just because of the push he can get inside and the whole line gets better - that means Carter and Daniels.... Go for another flashy DE and you still have teams running up the gut on you and being able to double team your pass rush... Get another Siragusa body style in there - if you do you can play a 3-4 or 4-3 and move linemen around and create a panic in the pocket
Redskins53
Do you think we should try to sign Aubrayo Franklin? He is young and 320 lbs. Espn had him ranked as a 54 (50-59 is a good back up). We could rotate him in on running downs and let him take on a few linemen. Aubrayo Franklin | DT Height: 6-1 Age: 26 Weight: 320 lbs Exp: 4 years Franklin is a short, thick-waisted defensive tackle with good power and strength to anchor in the middle. He has been a career backup and has not been productive, with only one sack and 40 hits in four seasons. Franklin does play with good pad level and is tough to get movement on, and he can take on double teams well but is inconsistent to disengage using his hands. Franklin appears to feel pad pressure well but is not active enough to make plays outside a limited area. He plays hard but his lack of height and foot quickness keep him from being a front-line player. He does not have much imagination as a pass rusher and needs to expand his hand use and counter moves to make improvement in this area. He has not often been used for more than a few plays at a time and may have some conditioning problems. He is a solid run stopper when holding his ground inside but may not ever break a starting line up until he improves his overall game, including hand use and pass rush package.
