What Happened To Santana Moss?

The reason moss hasnt had such a good year is because of injuries and having mark brunell at qb for most of the season. I know mark was qb last year but last year he was taking shots down the field which he didnt do this year. But things will be better next year when JC and Moss will be the next Rice and Montana.

Alot of things. He was doing pretty well till the injury came. But then you take into account that with the notoriety of being a probowler that he is probably more of a focus for opposing defenses, the fact of those injuries, and the fact that our only two plays are runs and screen passes, then yeah that pretty much sums that up.

One word to end the thread.

Hamstring.

Do you know what happens when a receiver injures his hamstring? bye bye season. without taking 6 weeks off easy depending on the severity, its over.

"injury" could be anything...its not like he broke a finger. His hamstring, combined with the lack of organization and all around mediocre play of the team gives you a subpar season.

u wanna know y?

CLINTON PORTIS

people are droping back and covering moss

with portis in they had to stack up the box which left moss one on one with safety help on the top

now teams have a safety, CB and MLB shadowing the middle on moss

Give up your man crush on Clinton Portis dude its really kind of weird.

Theres no chance Clinton Portis' injuries are the WHOLE reason for the ineptitude of the offense this season. If it is the reason we have some REAL problems.

Take off your Portis glasses man, the guy is not god.

I can't help it....Here goes:

What do you mean Moss is having a bad year? I thought we are stretching the field with our new "ALLPRO" QB back there? You mean we aren't stretching the field? You mean the QB play isn't really outstanding like everyone was saying after last week? You mean millionare Al is not the offensive genius everyone thought he would be?

Seriously...Moss will be fine. You can't have a stellar year each year when the playcalling is changed and your QB's change and...ther's other stuff too. :D

Yup...when a receiver, especially someone like Moss, hurts his hamstring, he loses the ability to be explosive and get separation. Moss has been at around 75% since the injury. He will be good to go next season.
