JeffSchmeff
He said people don't know that Joe Gibbs has a violent temper, but he holds it all in and covers for the players, but has had enough. George Michael was visibly mad too. Said that if the coaches aren't with Gibbs, then get out of here. Said that if the players aren't, get out too. Hopefully Gibbs lights a fire under their asses. andyburd
...finally! Man you are fast, just heard it too. Does anyone know what he said or did? I can;t believe it took till we are done till he went off
SMOSS89
you can talk and yell at them all you want, until they start performing it wont matter
JaimeDeCurry
I heard a story about one game where after the team came back out on the field after halftime, Gibbs had a bandage wrapped around his hand. He had punched a hole in the wall. That's the Gibbs I hope unloaded on the players today. It's certainly the Gibbs this team needs.

MumboSauce
A little late. My guess is he saw quitters...before maybe he saw more fight even in losing.
smitty71
Glad to see the fire back in JG! YEahhhhh!
Jethrodsp
hopefully he unloaded on Greg Williams. For some reason the players have completely forgotten how to desguise a blitz, they just walk up to the line and wait for the QB to call them out. I would like to see Sean blitzing up the middle more.
bryanjr2003
I dont think it was late he treats the players like men. Brian Mitchell has said this Doc Walker has said this. Its hard to believe it has come to this you would think the fat ass check they get and the huge homes they live in would make them think they should work hard
KingGibbs
This is what I'm talking about. These are men not babies and it's time to stop pampering them and hold them accountable.
wbar3383
This is not the first time Gibbs has doen thinsg like this. It just all goes on behidn scenes. Alot of the walking dead around this board think that Gibbs never lights a fire. Some of them even want him to do it publicy. One always happens, and one never happens. The smart fans will firgure out which is which.
RumpofSteelSKIN
If it took him until Week 12 to go off, he's about six weeks late. Gibbs must have really lost his leadership skills (as they relate to football, a different animal than cars) to let a season get so far gone to wait until the day before Thanksgiving to tear into those turkeys. redskin81
I knew it was coming. A coach like him will not take losing lightly. I agree that ANY player not on board can hit the road on the offseason.
phatboy41
I just heard it... and I love it... I hope he lit em up, because they need something to be fired up about. Thank you Gibbs, and though many say it's late, I think Gibbs wanted to feel the season out, we had a late start last season and he was probably hoping they'd become a TEAM somewhere along the lines but right now we just have high paid individuals. RedskinsFan28
Thinking of Joe Gibbs going ape**** on players is almost as surreal as Mister Rogers screaming and cussing at a bunch of children. Oh well, I hope it gets them to perform better.
staffva
The first thing I would like to see on Sunday is the team run on to the field and show some EMOTION! not just jog to the middle of the field and then walk to the sidelines.

Oh well, I hope it gets them to perform better. I know what you've mean but I have heard stories from the old days with Gibbs going crazy on players during bad games. I hope he comes back to that, because this team needs discipline, BADLY!
phatboy41
it's crazy but other than the news that Jason Campbell is the starter this has been the next best thing!
stwasm
Mount St. Gibbs finally erupts! I can take losing to superior teams, but I'm seeing a LOT of quit out there and I'm glad Coach Gibbs let them know about it.
Titaw
Hopefully this team can recover to a salvageable season, but without Portis this team has alot more bark than bite.
