Execution56
Coach Gibbs - or - Coach Saunders It looked like COACH JOE GIBBS football out there today! :eaglesuck :gaintsuck :dallasuck :point2sky
DCranon21
I think it was Saunders. Gibbs must of told him a thing or two after last week.
chronicdesi
There was an article in the post this week stating that Saunders wanted to run the ball. Also, when you are playing one of the worst rushing defenses in the league and you have your best player back you are gonna run. Saunders is still calling the plays, but I'm sure Gibbs is loving his style right now... Now we just have to cut down penalties..
Cdowwe
Im sure Gibbs had some say in that play calling
dsciambi
It's gotta be Saunders. The hallmark of his offense is adjusting to a QB's strengths. Dink and dunk is Brunell's bread and butter.
bedlamVR
Tey come from the same coaching tree so of course the games are going to look simlar . Pulss getting Portis back healthy certanly helps.
SC3
It looked like Saunders with some of Gibb's plays sprinkled in.
Da_Truth
Saunders was calling plays. He had to scale down his playbook becuase unlike his other qbs of the past, Brunell cannot attack a secondary mid and deep range. So he had to give him the kiddie menu of the playbook which worked quite well for Brunell
stwasm
I'll be curious to see what happens when we face a real defense like Jacksonville's next week. But, until then, I'm just going to enjoy it.
MSJHWT
I don't think it's one or the other, I think Gibbs/Saunders talk a lot preparing for the game/gameplanning and know basically what they'll run beforehand, then Saunders calls exact plays during the game, and Gibbs helps adjust at halftime. I don't think there is a one or the other type about it.
OVCChairman
Saunders, but this is Gibbs team...remember. Not to mention Saunders' offense is run oriented
SoCalSkins
Saunders figured out what he has at QB and made the best of it. No attempts anywhere downfield.

Guest sith lord
You guys are amazing. When the offense sucks, it Saunders. When it flourishes, it's Gibbs.
SkinsTerps26
WHERE IS SANTANA MOSS? WHERE IS CHRIS COOLEY? WHERE IS BRANDON LLOYD? I'll take this win, but lets be serious, those dumpoffs to betts will not work against the jags next week. Brunell is too quick to check down to the fullback/rb. I hate to think that Al saunders doesn't know how to use wrs considering he never had any in KC. WHERE ARE THE WRS?????
redskinsfan85
Gibbs all time record rushing 30 or more times = 119-19... Under 10 times it's like 9-50! That's crazy

WHERE ARE THE WRS????? a lot of those dump offs were designed and i think that is EXACTLY what we need against a SPEEDY, AGGRESSIVE jacksonville defense. we need to stretch Jax out or we are not gonna hang with them. get the tempo going fast and start confusing them
