i'm watching it tonight

I'm amped for this to start I think i'm going to try and stay up to watch it live. I'm not sure if you knew but Mighty Mo is replacing Arlovski he is the only one they could find on 4 days notice lol. I don't think Mighty Mo has ever turned down a paycheck to fight. Also, Ruslan Karaev dropped out soon after the card was announced and he has been replaced by Ray Sefo to fight Tyrone Spong.

Overeem beat that boy senseless last night

had about 3 or 4 "DAMN" moments

I can't believe Overeem blocked Edwards' shots like they were nothing. I knew once he did that it was going to be over soon. Overeem looked frustrated he couldn't clinch and knee with the new no clinch rule being enforced but then was like **** it ill just counter him to death. That counter overhand right on the first knockdown was beautiful.

http://mmajunkie.com/news/20919/lightweights-charles-oliveira-and-jim-miller-tapped-for-ufc-124-in-montreal.mma

Prospect Charles Oliveira (14-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) attempts to climb another rung on the UFC's lightweight ladder when he meets Jim Miller (18-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC) at UFC 124.

The pending fight was confirmed to MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) Wednesday by sources close to the event, who said the fighters have agreed to the matchup with paperwork on the way. MMAWeekly.com first reported the pairing.

UFC 124 takes place Dec. 11 at Montreal's Bell Centre.

The event features a welterweight title fight between reigning champ Georges St-Pierre and Josh Koscheck, who also served as coaches on "The Ultimate Fighter 12."

The night's main card airs on pay-per-view, and Oliveira vs. Miller is expected to be part of the broadcast.

The undefeated Oliveira wowed audiences in his most recent performance, a submission victory over "The Ultimate Fighter 8" winner Efrain Escudero at UFC Fight Night 22. Although it was the first time the Brazilian fighter took so long to defeat an opponent – eight of the Brazilian's 14 career wins were earned in the first round, including a submission victory over Darren Elkins during his octagon debut at UFC on Versus 1 – it was nonetheless a great showing against a seasoned veteran.

After a free and easy display of standup skills, Oliveira seized the moment when he slammed Escudero in the fight's final round and used a subsequent scramble to lock in a standing rear-naked choke. The sequence happened in a flash and forced Escudero to tap, which sealed a $40,000 "Submission of the Night" bonus for the Brazilian.

Miller, meanwhile, amassed his fifth consecutive octagon victory by shutting down Gleison Tibau just prior to Oliveira's triumph at UFC Fight Night 22. The former IFL fighter controlled the standup action throughout the three-round affair and kept Tibau guessing about a takedown en route to a unanimous decision.

Miller's sole career setbacks came against Frankie Edgar, who now holds the UFC lightweight belt, and Gray Maynard, who is set to vie for that title in January at UFC 125.

I'm a little surprised they're throwing Oliveira in deep so quick, I thought they would give him the Jon Jones slow build up since he's only 20
