But even more important to me is the addition of Vandy. We were a laughing stock last year in the kicking game. I'm no expert on the redskins history of kickers, but have you ever had a kicker who lined up for a 25 yard chip shot, and you just couldn't look at the TV because of fear? It was brutal. We lost a few games last year because of abyssmal kickers. Including our first meeting against you last year. Not an excuse, a fact. I do agree, our gameplan against you on monday night, was too conservative. I really felt as though parcells and company thought you guys couldn't score at all, so there was no reason to push the ball down the field. We paid a price for that.

I didn't realize Jose Cortez came to us through you. I knew he was a niner, but didn't know he stopped off in DC. He is GOD AWFUL.

We've had decent luck with punters lately, and I like McBriar, the guy we got now, I can live with a shanked punt every now and then, but when you line up for a 30 yarder, and have to pucker your "u know what", it sucks.

My neighbor is a MLS soccer player for the New England team (whoever they are), I was having a few beers with him last year and he said he was trying to get a tryout for the cowboys. Never happened though.

Bottom line it, the last time I tried to have a rational conversation about a reasonable subject relating to dallas on this message board I got plenty of fine and intelligent comments. Then two or three dallas fans got in there and all I got from them was "you're stupid, no it isn't" comments as well as insults and sarcasm. The dallas fans want to say us Skins fans in here are jerks? Some are, maybe, there certainly are alot of Skins fans in this here Skins message board. As far as I have seen, its the dallas fans who don't care to bring anything good to the table.

There are plenty of threads in this board with giants fans, eagle fans, Skins fans and other team fans where everyone is getting along quite well with each other. The dallas fans then get in there, get defensive and make nasty comments to everyone. Don't believe me? Check out some of the other threads I posted. I thought the conversation about Parcells was pretty good. Then weownu, thehereafter, and hehateme come in and pick fights by making sarcastic and downright insulting comments. And you want to say WE are the ones who aren't decent to the dallas fans? Look in the mirror.

Most Redskins fans try to put a positive spin on most everything Redskins, while putting a negative spin on most things related to rival teams.

There's even one douchebag that goes around calling Skins fans the "most ignorant fan base in sports" or something like that, anytime they disagree with him. Its pretty stupid.

Just because we have differing opinions on who will win the division, doesn't mean our opinions aren't rational. Get off your high-horses and maybe we can have rational conversation. To be fair, there are 50,000 members here. I doubt DCZ tops 10,000. So just in pure numbers alone, yeah, there are more homers here. I don't really know what other team boards numbers are, but I have to believe that ~55,000 members is near the top of the list for most populated message boards.

They know football, they understand the dynamics in the division and conference, they know the history of their team and are a pleasure to talk with. It IS possible to stand up for your team without resorting to insults or derogatory remarks (this directed to both sides).

At the same time, we enjoy "expressing" those amusing and ardently fanesque aspects of ourselves.

There is a time and place, people. You want a decent conversation on the relative merits of Skins vs 'Boys, we can do that.

To be fair, there are 50,000 members here. I doubt DCZ tops 10,000. So just in pure numbers alone, yeah, there are more homers here. I don't really know what other team boards numbers are, but I have to believe that ~55,000 members is near the top of the list for most populated message boards.

If they give a dissenting "opinion" they are personally attacked. I have used the ignore function before but I hate it, for a couple reasons first people quote the other text and you still see it. Second It is hard to follow a thread if the person on ignore is part of the thread. JMO

Yeah...but that "max users" number isn't the same people all the time. There are a lot of people within that ~50Gs or so that post regularly, but there are probably a lot that don't as well, and maybe only lurk occasionally to get the latest news. But I am always seeing new posters in the Stadium, and even in here to an extent.

Yeah...I can see his point but come on...comparing a 5th rounder being "passed over" to the number 5 overall pick being "passed over?" There's a world of difference there, and the two situations aren't even remotely similar.
