SteelerSkins
Seems like we are going to go ahead and keep Frost around for next season . . . Does anyone else think that we should just get rid of him NOW? He was really, really bad this year, and it seems stupid to even bring him back to camp, no matter who we line up as his competition . . . Just throwin' it out there . . . NoVaSkins21
I don't see any point in keeping the guy because he was so inconsistent last year. Some times he had some boomers and then he would shank a couple. I cant believe Coach Gibbs is actually considering putting him in on kickoffs for Hall who should also be gone due to inconsistency and injury. SteelerSkins
the weirdest part of this offseason has been the kicking game . . . frost, in a tight game, is terrible as far as field position goes!
visionary
I think this has already been discussed pretty well in the other thread. But eh what the heck. This decision makes me pretty nervous, not so much during the season if things go well, but come playoff time, we can't afford weak links.
SteelerSkins
sorry, didn't mean to overlap . . . but then again, field position is HUGE! snyder, gibbs - read this thread!

kevinklein
The field position he put us in at times could have been absolutely devastating. It's a good thing we had a good defense last year or we wouldn't have been very well off. Gibbs knows what he's doing. He must see something in Frost that makes him believe his consistancy will improve (probably because it can't be much worse). My patience with Frost is getting shorter, though. I better not see more than one or two shanks next year...we just can't afford them most of the time.
justin_totti10
he showed some improvement towards the end of the season..theres plenty of quailty punters out there he he doesnt work out
aussieskin
In some games last year I think the idea was to kick the ball short to keep it away from the PR/KR..this kept teams out of the end zone: I believe this was done becuase out defence is so good, so dont be too hard on the punter Hail all things redskins
terpfan
I really do think Frost was improving last year. Honestly, Im more worried about Hall.
Mania
I believe the Joe Gibbs and Danny Smith emphasize hang time more than lenght of punt and supposedly Frost has gotten pretty good at this. Yes he did put us in bad field position throughout the season. However he did get better the last 4 or 5 games of the year, outside of the punt during the playoff game at Tampa that could've ended our season. Under 30 aint cutting it

onedrop
hopefully we wont be punting too much... nicely put and exactly right. if our O keeps Frost off the field its a non issue. keep scoring, thats what its all about.
Joe Sick
Keeping Frost is a GREAT idea... until we find someone better. If he can consistently put it on the goalline on kickoffs, his worth to us increases. Keep Hall's leg fresh for long-ish field goals. He's a better tackler than Hall, too! Warhead36
We'll only be punting twice a game or so with this offense anyway. Who needs to punt?
ImmortalDragon
Lets move him to linebacker, I've got $20 that says he does a better job than Holdman.
