way2muchfun
Santana's little brother Sinorice is projected to be drafted in the low to mid 20's of the first round in the 2006 draft. The Redskins are around in that area right now as far as their slot. Should the Redskins pick him up? He is just as quick as his big brother, although he is a bit small (5'8", 185lbs). Any thoughts? bigpoppa
He is no were near as good. Would be a wasted pick. He is not even the best WR on the Canes.
bulldog
I doubt the Skins are looking at a rookie receiver to pair with Moss. If anything the team is probably looking for a skilled veteran with playoff experience who is going to be able to come in and learn the offense quickly and get up to speed Remember Gibbs prefers veterans when he can find them. True, the club has done a good job of integrating guys like Sean Taylor, Chris Cooley and Carlos Rogers into the starting lineup in recent years, but on offense Gibbs tends to trust veterans at the skill positions, hence the move for the 34 year old Brunell in 2004 and the move for the 32 year old David Patten in 2005. cphil006
We don't have a first round pick at the moment. We traded it last draft to aquire Jason Campbell...
Riggo-toni
It's this same kind of stupidity which thankfully led the Giants to spend 2 frst rounders on Eli when they could've had Big Ben. :doh1: What's in a name? Millions, if you're entering the draft.

themurf
Santana Moss said on this very website that he wouldn't want that for his little brother - he'd rather have him go somewhere else and not have to be constantly compared to Santana day in and day out. Let the kid develop elsewhere.
bulldog
does anyone really think the Skins are now planning on pairing a 180 pound WR with the 190 pound Moss? everyone realizes this team needs to find a 6'1 or 6'2 wide receiver who can catch passes in traffic and take some hits. EnFoRcEr_uPu
We need a guy like Reggie Wayne, not that I think we'll get him. But just someone who has a good height advantage and good hands in the redzone to be able to take some fade routes.
SkinsHokieFan
Nowhere has Sinorice been projected in the 1st round While he is fast, he is not what the Redskins need at WR, nor is he half the WR Santana was in college He caught 67 passes in 4 YEARS Sanatan was one of the best Miami ever had No comparision at all, Sinorice can't hold Santana's jock
jayl1985
It wouldn't be bad if he can be anywhere near as good as santana. The size issue doesn't really bother me because the two best wideouts in the league this year are 5'9. Of course we don't have a first round pick but with the skins anything can happen. Taylor 36
 I think we need to get a proven veteran, not a rookie, small or large. Remember Mike Williams??? How'd that pick that we supposedly blew turn out???
bryceb07
Santana already said he thinks it'd be a good thing for his brother taking his own path. I only see us taking him if he doesn't get drafted at all
matt_chew
getting sinorce would be useless for us. We need a larger receiver on the other side to compliment moss, not his brother who may be fast but has no height whatsoever. As much as i didnt like Mccants he is the kind of receiver we need. mookie0720
God no, please stop. I wish we could lock all threads suggesting this. SINORICE MOSS IS NOT GOOD, PLEASE STOP SAYING WE SHOULD GET HIM, YOU ONLY LIKE HIM BECAUSE HE'S RELATED TO SANTANA.
