cjcdaman
Well guys, the Steelers aren't afraid to change their gameplan in a do or die playoff game on the road in a hostile environment. They opened it up on their first drive and drove 85 yards for a TD. I realize our offense is run to set up the pass, but I really think we should have come out firing the ball around to get Seattle's D guessing. Your thoughts? scruffylookin
In theory I agree with you. Our problem yesterday was that we only had Santana and Captain Chaos and nothing else. Plus we had a gimp armed, old QB in Brunell.
Lieminator
steelers have more offensive weapons.. we'll get there soon
RedskinzOwnU
I agree. You do what works, not what "got you there," especially when what got you there is clearly NOT working. We didn't make the adjustments necessary to beat seattle. We beat seattle in week 4 with a pass attack, and our run game was trash yesterday. We should have adjusted much earlier than we did. Our Offense got going real fast once we opened it up.
slinky
Wayne should be a Skin next year and then we'll some more potent passing attack
SkinsHokieFan
Not only that, but our field position in the first half was TERRIBLE Bad weather, plus terrible field position= go conservative
HittinSkinz
we dont have the offensive talent that the steelers have
Gregpeck99
Are you kidding ... see how fast Big Ben throws his darts. Brunell plays in slow motion by comparison.
RunPortisRun
Gibbs is like G.Bush; he makes a plan and sticks to it...no matter if it's working or not.
TheSteve
I find this thread funny considering Cowher went into a shell with his run, run, pass, stopped blitzing, and almost gave away the game to Indianapolis.
