I really truly do, I dont know if Im 'buying' into the Gibbs auroa, sotospeak, but I really feel the Skins matchup well with the Hawks and it seems EVERYONE is overlooking and diminishing our beloved team. I think the offense gets on track in a BIG way this saturday with Portis seriously having over 150 yards on the ground (or around there). The ODDS are all against us though, as of course Vegas has us in the pits (+9 1/2). So its a simple question, how confident are you guys in this game? Would you put money down in exchange for a big payout? How much if so? All-in-all im just curious for some feedback, just with a 'gambling' edge to it of course. I started to bed against them (money line) because that way if they lost I won money.... When they won I did not give a rats ass about the cash because the frickin skins won!!! I think the "Gibbs Aura" is exactly why this team is where they are today. What other coach would get the most out of their players, as well as Gibbs? That got me a little worried, but we are not playing a game of odds. I think the Skins will feed off of being 9 1/2 point dogs and pull out the win. Sportsbook.com had a prop bet last week....Skins giving 3.5 to the Bucs instead of getting points. It was +210 for that bet...means IF I had bet $1000 on the Skins to win I would have gotten my $1000 back and won $2100. Now.....IF I had taken $1000 of that $2100 and put it on the Patriots to win laying the points against Jacksonville I would have picked up an extra $900 making a total win of $3000. I really wish that I was a betting man. By the way.....you can take the Skins +3.5 instead of +9.5 and the line is +180.........meaning if you take the reduced line $100 will win you $180.
