Make sure the wedding starts promptly at 3: 30. It should be over at kick off, and then slip out the back, show up at the reception at half time, give the obligatory speech and then leave again.

Ok you know what I would do???? I would be truthfully honest and say something along the lines of this: Look I know your getting married and i am very happy for you but, i need this playoff game. I want this playoff game just as much as you want to get married. just let me listen to the radio i'll be good. you'd do this for me cause look at the sacrifice I am making for you. Brothers are supposed to help each other out when in need!

Tivo the game (allow for 1 hour overtime). Make sure all radio and tv sets are turned off everywhere you go. Turn off the cellphone. Attend the wedding and come back to watch your Tivo. Sure the Redskins will have won or lost but like NBC used to say of their repeats: "If you haven't seen it, it's new to you"

Dude, Get a TIVO. Greatest invention since the VCR. Record the Game and make sure nobody tells you what the score on the game is, then watch it later.
