Springs is a real professional, he'll be out there next week, Rogers practiced one day last week, so he'll hopefully be ready for the bucs. Darrell isn't really needed. If Betts can't go on third down we could screen to Green (what a great T-shirt motto) and he might take it to the house. Might as well have him return punts too. dfbovey Posted January 2, 2006 Share Posted January 2, 2006 Heading into the playoffs, our secondary is without a doubt my biggest concern. Springs, Rogers, Jimoh, Bowen... all hurt. We need these guys to be healthy and contribute if we're gonna make it out of the first round. If Williams doesn't have guys who can cover... even guys like McMahon find time to make plays against us. I don't think Green would be the answer to this problem though. Not is he not likely to be in football shape, he hasn't been with this team and wouldn't be familiar with Williams' system. Unless he's been around Redskin park and we don't know about it... this wouldn't be such a great idea. We need Springs to gut it out, and hopefully Rogers can come back and contribute.
