  1. Been putting away a bunch of Victory's Kirsch Gose recently. Shoveled 4.5 tons of landscaping stone in mid 90 degree heat last Saturday and this tasted fantastic. Decent tartness and a little salty. Like alcoholic Gatorade...
  2. Lomachenko looked fantastic last weekend. His footwork was incredible. Martinez had no idea where VL was in the ring all night long. Plus, that KO will be in the running for KO of the year. Lifted his head up with the uppercut and put him out with the hook.
  3. I like almost everything from Lost Abbey and Port Brewing. When I went to San Diego a few years ago to check out some breweries, Port Brewing's Pizza Port was my favorite stop. Some of the best pizza I've ever had to go along with a ton of great craft beers.
  4. Had the latest offering from The Hop Concept last night called "Galaxy & Comet" and WOW is it ever good. About as dank as any IPA I can remember having in a while...
  5. Tried a few newer (?) offerings from Great Lakes... Steady Rollin' Session IPA is a decent session. Light, drinkable, would like a little more of the hop bitterness to come through but could definitely put a few of these away on a hot summer day. Hop by Numbers IPA is not very good IMO. Awfully malty for a beer with "Hop" in its name. Perhaps people that do not like the bitterness of most IPAs would enjoy this, but I would not buy it again.
  6. Regarding the best beer bar article...... Churchkey is unbelievable. If any of you guys get the chance to check it out, do not hesitate. Probably the best beer bar i have ever been to. Went there a few months ago when i was in DC for the ACC tournament.
  7. I've had it. It's a good choice for a night cap. Couldn't drink more than one though due to how sweet it is.
  8. In case anyone is interested Southern Tier Pumking is available. Quite pricey, but absolutely worth it. FANTASTIC beer.....
  9. Unfortunately.... http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=3854403
  10. I'm going with Margarito with a late round KO. I think it will be a close fight too. Shane won't be able to hurt Margarito and I think Marg will pressure him so much throughout the fight that his chin won't hold up. Similar to the Cotto fight.
  11. +1 I was excited to see the Hatton/Pac fight fall through.
  12. I don't think so..... I think that fight would be fantastic. It would be a tough one to pick, but I would probably have to go with Mayweather until proven otherwise.
  13. I wasn't saying that I thought Punisher was avoiding Margarito, I was just saying that I thought Margarito always complained about everyone avoiding him. So, it's funny to me that he would be dodging Punisher. I was thinking the same thing. That fight has no business being on any "Best of" list..... Pac will destroy Hatton....
  14. HBO Boxing's Best of 2008 starts on Saturday Dec 27th: 27th @ 11pm Cotto v Margarito 27th @ 12am Marquez v Pacquiao II 28th @ 11pm Pavlik v Hopkins 29th @ 11pm Calzaghe v Jones
  15. Is Margarito really refusing to sign a contract to fight Williams? I thought that was always the cry from the Margarito camp; that everyone was avoiding HIM. I'd love to see that fight..... What do you think of the rumors of PBF coming out of retirement? Do you think he would fight Manny. I'd love to see that too....
