On both offense and defensive sides of the ball Sean Taylor will be the sole reason why we go over .500 I forsee a lot of "Taylor Time" in the red zone. Does anyone else agree with me out there?

:2cents:

Gibbs is afraid to use Moss (with exception of the last 2 min of the Dallas thrilla) and Patten, - evidence being our lack of passing game,

do you think he is going to use a 23 year safety as a WR... ???

he already has you know... he has lined up as a wideout twice in the bears game during our goal line set. they like him for his height and his hands... gregg williams said sean taylor is his favorite pro athlete on 60 sec. with a redskin, and gibbs said he thought taylor was the best all around athlete on the team.

he's the tallest wr we have as well, i believe.

Joe Gibbs had a deep option on almost every pass play called against Dallas. The route the receiver will run and the place were the qb actually goes are determined by things like what defense is called (Gibbs' runs option routes almost all the time). For instance, if the defense goes with a two deep zone, the receivers cut their route because a long pass will NOT work (Dallas played an awful lot of two deep, just like the Giants in the 80s). If they blitz and you've only got 5 or 6 men blocking, the QB HAS to get the ball out quickly so you're going to run something that's a quick hitter. Further, our average starting position this year is behind the 30-yard line and you are NOT going to see much of a big passing game from ANY coach until you get out past the 40.

The major reasons we did not have a pass game last year were WR who ran the wrong routes and an offensive line that was suspect.
