This is terrible:<br /><br />Skins...no playoffs<br />Wiz...no playoffs<br />Caps...no playoffs<br />Mystics...no playoffs<br />United...no playoffs<br />Freedom...no playoffs<br />***Orioles...no playoffs***<br /><br />This is just horrible because all of these teams I root for because I am a Washintonian. Diehards.<br /><br />The Caps had a lot of hype with Jagr and the Wizards with Jordan. Kind of reminiscent of the 2000 Washington "Mr Sndyer's Dream Team" Redskins with all the high priced talent that was suppose bring D.C. its 4th Super Bowl Win.<br /><br />As for the Mystics, United and Freedom, the came along after I left the Capital Area. I don't care how much "I am a Peter" Angelos says that DC areas make up a considerable percentage of Camden Yard's attendance numbers. <br /><br />Plus the title of this thread includes the words "pro sports teams".
