BlindSideBlitz
That Brandon Noble is out against Dallas and looks like he has the same injury that LA had last year.

DieselPwr44
That stinks. He should consider retirement after all of his knee troubles over the past 2-3 seasons.
Fred Jones
Which means he will be out for a while. It also means Noble's future is in question, especially if he misses significant playing time.

PapaDRoc
He's out 4-6 weeks. http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=10316 Noble Has Surgery; Could Miss 4-6 Weeks September 14, 2005 By By Gary Fitzgerald Defensive tackle Brandon Noble underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Wednesday and could be sidelined 4-6 weeks, team officials said. Noble had tweaked the surgically repaired knee during a practice last week, forcing him to sit out the Sept. 11 season opener against the Chicago Bears. "You hate that he gets a setback on something like that," head coach Joe Gibbs said. "Our first thought is to always protect him and do what is best for him." In 2003, Noble had reconstructive surgery on his left knee after suffering an injury during a preseason game. The 6-2, 305-pounder returned last year to play in all 16 games, with seven starts. Noble recorded 38 tackles (19 solo) and one sack in 2004 and was named the team's Ed Block Courage Award winner. Added Gibbs: "[Winning the Ed Block Courage Award] says a lot about his work ethic and how mentally and physically tough Brandon is." Coming out of preseason, the Redskins had decided to keep five defensive tackles. Noble is listed as a backup to starters Cornelius Griffin and Joe Salave'a. In Noble's absence, Ryan Boschetti and Cedric Killings could see increased action in the defensive line rotation.
Grumpy Vet
Is he starting for us? - I thought he was a b/u - Of course that still is not good.....
PapaDRoc
Is he starting for us? - I thought he was a b/u - Of course that still is not good..... Saleve'a is actually the starter, but Noble was in the rotation. However, its kind of a Taylor Jacobs thing (a guy who can contribute, but he is injured all the time so its not necessarily a loss). tex
I almost said something bull-headed like “why is Jacobs still here?" but I caught myself before it slipped out.
jimster
we should be able to find someone on the wire in the next week. Meanwhile I guess Killings will be seeing some time.
Higgs44
at least we have 5 DTs on the roster... 4 now
SamSneed36
Gotta cut Noble and then we have two roster spots available. We did OK without him last year on the line, and we still have Daniels commin back. I think we'll be alright.

Mr. S
Id rather give Killings more time, he's definitely spent time on the practice squad, like Nic Clemons, and has done well in NFL Euro. We still have 4 DT's, which is rather standard, plus I havent been too high on Noble especially when a cheaper no-name in Joe Salave'a comes in and plays admirably.
