Guest GIBBSisGOD
I was really excited to see lemar marshall in alot of the plays and actually finish 2nd only to Marcus in tackles on the team. Plus he had that one key interception while the bears were in our territory. Although i regretted to let pierce go i think that it was worth not paying all that extra money to see what guys like marshall have got.
Truant
Good early signs on his part. He'll get better as he gets more comfortable. He was late picking up Justin Gage coming into his zone when Chicago got down to our 1 yard line. Good stuff.
Idaho fan
Yes, glad to see Marshall is working out. It will be interesting to see how Smoot and Pierce do with their new teams. Both good players that were hard to lose - but so far so good.

jtyler42
Marshall played well...It's safe to say that Greg Williams knows what he is talking about when it comes to his D and the players in it!
fpickering
Don't forget that it was Holdman who deflected the pass which led to the INT.
Mr. S
Marshall will hopefully fill in for Pierce the way Pierce did last year. Plus, Marshall has more experience than Pierce did starting last season. We should be fine.
Mark The Homer
Time to start wearing Marshall jerseys to the game. I'll be wearing mine next time for sure. Go Lemar!
Fred Jones
Marshall is also better in coverage than Pierce was.

SamSneed36
Marshall looked like he was filling the role decently so far, hope he grows in the next couple of weeks and really becomes the leader like Peirce was
Mania
Smoot got hurt today vs Bucs...not sure the extent of his injury Heres to hoping Smoot is ok. He is a class act and I'm cheering him on whereever he plays. He's still a fan favorite.

In fact, according to the nfl.com stats, Marcus is the one who finished second. Lemar had two assists, which pushes him ahead of Marcus, using nfl math. Marcus is listed as 25th in the NFC regarding tackles, and Lemar is listed at 11th. And that doesn't even include the interception. (Ironically, Pierce is listed as 4th) http://www.nfl.com/stats/leaders/NFC/TAC/2005/regular A great game for Lemar!

That was a shame, but the way the play was structured I'm not sure there was much more he could have done. At least he made the tackle.
