iheartskins
Waffle House pecan waffles with a side of their divine hashbrowns. All the saturated fat and cholestrol that you can dream of and delicious too! Damn I wish there were waffle houses in New York.

jpillian
Really? I've always thought Waffle Houses were a bit ghetto. I'm a big local mom and pop breakfast join fan. Gotta find that whenever I move to a new place. The chains just don't do it for me anymore (IHOP, Denny's, Waffle House).

They tend to be pretty run down with a strange clientele, but there are some off of 85 before you get to Richmond that aren't too bad. I'm not saying I'd want to have a wedding reception there, just some good greasy breakfast. There are plenty of good diners in NYC, just not in my area--hence my craving of Waffle House. PCS
All of the above mentioned places, ( I like a good grandslam myself). And always enjoy a good breakfast buffet, preferably at a casino. Call it one stop shopping if you will.

I always go there after cross-country practice on Saturday mornings. My normal order is hashbrowns, triple scattered (triple order), triple smothered (onions), triple covered (cheese), triple chunked (ham). So good! If I'm really hungry, I'll also get a waffle. riggins44
Tempted to make some sausage gravy and biscuits tomorrow for breakfast. In the winter, nothing beats dried salted cod with a little bacon grease poured on.
Mr. S
I had the Shoney's breakfast buffet a few weeks ago, it was rpetty good, a good way to help recover after a night of well, you can guess I like funnel cakes though, those things are good! nelms
Really? I've always thought Waffle Houses were a bit ghetto. I went to one last Saturday (after a few beers of course). It was late and me and my buddy were hungry. At 2am there aren't a whole lot of places open. I hadn't been to a Waffle House in years, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was excellent. The hash browns were unbelievable.
