  1. You know what I won't be wrong on? That nothing will come of this committee, and the majority of the public doesn't care. I also won't be wrong that the GOP will have a super majority come November. Too early to guarantee a win in 2024 but that's looking very likely as well. You guys still gonna be talking about Trump then, or are you finally gonna realize that you need to improve your own party to get the public to care? My guess is you'll just scoff and cry and whine about how stupid Americans are, that they're all racist rednecks that watch Fox news, etc. They were just too stupid to understand the greatness of the Democrats!
  2. Everyone that isn't CNN or mainstream media = moron. Everyone else is just gateways to the right, right? Joe Rogan, Tim Pool. More listeners than any mainstream news outlet... Keep writing them off as morons. And I'm still waiting on any convictions or jail time for Trump. you guys are gonna be waiting a while.
  3. Refusing to accept election results is not the same thing as a conspiracy to overthrow the government. Trying to connect the two is such a huge reach that will fail miserably. Why was capitol security at 50% when they knew a massive protest was going down? Why were capitol police waving people inside and opening doors? I don't watch Fox. I watch Tim Pool. 1.3 million subscribers with a full staff of journalists. Defected democrat that is sick of establishment Democrats. Voted for Hillary, then voted for Trump. That's the news I consume. I don't watch any of the big media outlets.
  4. It's clear you have high hopes that something will come of this committee. More power to ya. Can't wait to see the TV ratings. I'd bet more people are watching Timcast or The Quarterings live streams.
  5. Considering the panel is made up of all people that voted to impeach trump and they refused multiple Republicans from serving on the committee.... Yes, I'd call it partisan. Anyone with a brain can see that it is.
  6. I DID ask why they aren't investigating Pelosi and Mitch. A lot of people are.. And I agree. Like I stated from the beginning... This committee is a partisan political grandstanding move by the Democrats they strategically waited until right before midterms to trot out. Nothing will come of it. Nothing. Not to mention, the American people don't care. It was the previous president, and it was over a year and a half ago. No one believes the Democrats when they try to compare it to 9-11. The American people have moved on and want answers on things like the inflation, economy, and gas prices. They want answers from the current president. Unfortunately, he can barely form sentences. I really hope the Dems continue to waste all of their time and energy on this kind of stuff instead of the things people really care about. It will be their demise.
  7. Until he testifies otherwise under oath, I don't believe he lied on this matter. I don't think he wanted his supporters to storm the capital. I think he wanted a protest. That's it. You can't blame the extremism of a minority on an entire political party or person. Unless you think BLM is directly responsible for the murders and billions in damage from the riots in summer of 20? If youre so convinced he did lie, we should see a great outcome for the Democrats from this committee, yes? Not to mention, this committee is 100 percent partisan. I'm interested in the outcome, just like I'm interested in the outcome of the Republicans investigation of January 6th they say they will be launching soon. From the facts of both, I will form my own opinion. For now I stand behind the security not being sufficient and that it could have been prevented. Believing him on certain things doesn't make someone a big fan. I'm also a fan of him when it comes to the economy, like 52 percent of Americans did when polled. So what?
  8. Trump himself as a source stated he had national guard at the ready and recommended them. I believe he is telling the truth until something like this committee proves otherwise. I like this guy. I don't watch the news. I consume alternative media sources. Most of them defected Democrats sick of the establishment.
  9. Once again youre obsessed with picking apart sources and didn't answer the questions that followed in my post. I stated earlier that if it wasn't Pelosi, then who dropped the ball? Was it Bowser? They had the Intel ahead of time. I'm trying to have a conversation about how the security was insufficient, and how we can prevent stuff like this in the future... And everyone is just obsessed with owning each other's sources. "See! Haha! I told you! Right wing tin foil hatter! Look at him!" The problem is you aren't willing to entertain any questions of who was at fault for January 6th other than Donald Trump. You can't handle it. If you wanna keep focusing on Trump, do you man. Polling shows the average American could give a hoot about this committee.
  10. https://www.nationalguard.mil/News/Article/2466077/dod-details-national-guard-response-to-capitol-attack/ Direct from the national guard. Bowser didn't request more help until 2pm. Why? They had the intelligence ahead of time. People still aren't answering my question of who dropped the ball. Can we agree security was insufficient and that it likely would have prevented Jan 6th? Why is that so difficult. Or are we just obsessed with blaming it all on Trump instead of talking about how it could have been prevented, and how stuff like this can be prevented in the future? If you're so worried about Trump, the solution is easy. Present a better candidate. You can't cancel everything you don't like.
  11. I can post just as many articles proving the contrary. It's the mainstream battle of "your sources are misinformation, not mine" and everyone calling each other fake news. It's why I typically only post polling data and opinions of former Democrats that are against the current state of the Democratic party. Can't call that stuff misinformation or fake news. People ignore any points I do make (like how everyone brushed over the Kavanaugh stuff) and claim everything else is a Republican "talking point"... Like that matters? Everything is a talking point. People do care about what's being taught in schools, people do care about inflation and gas prices, people do want to see riots stop regardless of which political party they are birthed from. If I'm repeating talking points it's because I care about those issues. Its amazing the lengths people will go to, to defend what is historically a terrible presidential administration. You don't like Trump, we get it. Start taking some ownership about what YOU are doing wrong currently and stop trying to distract the American people from it
  12. I believe that national guard was recommended based on intelligence and someone dropped the ball. The few capitol police that were there were not sufficient. If Pelosi turning them down is "misinformation" then who did? Riots need to stop. Regardless of the cause they are birthed from. I don't care if it's BLM, Trump, whatever. Security needs to directly reflect the level of threat. We were not prepared for January 6th and I believe it could have been avoided with national guard assisting capitol police.
  13. Well at least we're able to have a conversation. I was a registered democrat and defected from the party. Worked for a democratic governor. So we have opposite stories and perspectives. I don't think the Republicans are perfect either and they don't do enough when they are in power. I'm primarily anti-establishment and tend to vote out incumbents at every opportunity. Everyone else on here just assumes I'm too stupid to understand that I'm stupid... And that anything that goes against the Democrats is misinformation. It's the main reason why I only post polling data...because I know everything else they would just say is a lie or misinformation. Can't argue with the pulse of the average American voter. Everyone just assumes I'm a Qanon conspiracy theorist MAGA hat wearing trump supporter.
  14. I agree. I hope the Republicans take the high road and focus on better things instead of stooping to the Dems level and witch hunting all the time. I was just stating what I think is likely to happen that's all. I think the whole Burisma thing and "10 percent for the big guy" is what they are gonna go after him for. I'd rather them focus on policy and fixing the problems the Biden Admin has caused. That's what the people want, and why they will vote GOP in the midterms and 2024. At least someone is willing to admit the Dems faults on here. Everyone else seems to think they are doing a great job and the average American are just too dumb to understand how awesome of a job they are really doing. Yikes.
  15. I never ever said Jan 6th wasn't a big deal. Riots are awful. All I said is that this is going to do nothing as far as changing Americans current opinion that the Biden Admin is doing an absolute terrible job and is not going to stop Republicans from being a super majority come November. Then we can listen to all the committees and impeachment attempts on Biden. I'm fine with Democrats having their last hurrah before midterms if this is what they want to focus on. I hope they continue to focus on January 6th, vaccine mandates, and teaching gender ideology to kids. It will almost guarantee their fate.
  16. Have you seen the current polls? A landslide is looking to be a sure-thing in 2022. I'd bet a lot of money that the GOP has a super majority. Yes you are correct that land-slides are rare. All signs point to historic GOP wins in 2022 and 24 at the moment. CNN of all places just reported on the GOPs polling being the highest in 80 years. People are tired of the BS and regret electing Biden. And yes, I think the election was legitimate.
  17. True. I'm pleased with Derrick Forrest showing signs of development as a silver lining however. I'm really excited for the rookie crop and year-2 guys this off-season. Theoretically this is the season where Ron's plan should show signs of taking hold. Cheers to our first 10 win season
  18. Hopefully the fine is enough to get the media and public moved on to something else. If it weren't for the Dust Up comment I think Ron would've defended everything else he said. Unfortunate poor choice of words. Just like the COVID vaccine issue last year, this makes zero impact on the locker room. Wentz also didn't get the vaccine, so I think he fits right in here. Matter of fact, Logan Paulsen said JDR is Chase Young's GUY. Loves the dude. Anyone calling for JDR to be fired for anything other than his defense's performance this season needs their heads checked. Top 5 defense the year before last. Highly doubt his seat is even remotely warm. He's a top 10 defensive coordinator in the league. This will be water under the bridge very soon.
  19. Bummed we didn't hear more about Percy Butler during OTAs. Fingers crossed he makes some noise during Mini Camp & Training Camp. I chose Percy as my burgundy jersey this season. A Redskins jersey with his name custom stitched on the back. Haven't decided on who to go with for the white jersey this year. Thinking Dotson.
  20. I'd argue he's trump 2.0. new and improved. The good of Trump, less of the bad. He'd win in a landslide. And yes, to above posters I meant convicted. I anticipate Biden will be impeached as well. Ya know, that whole laptop thing the media said was Russian disinformation. What's even more awesome is that the American people liked Trump way more than Biden. Current approval ratings will tell you that. Don't really understand all the fuss.
  21. You couldn't be more wrong. I wish Trump wouldn't run, and I'd vote for Desantis. I've stated multiple times I'm not a huge Trump fan.
  22. I'm looking forward to them making their case! I highly doubt anything will come of it. Just like Russia-Gate.
