  1. Think T. Andersen can be our solution at both Mike and Buffalo Nick. He's that athletic. Also would bet a lot of money that Leo Chenal is a pro bowler for whoever drafts him. Unfortunately unless we trade back I doubt we take him.
  2. Couldn't agree more. When the guys in round 2 aren't far off from the guys available at 11... You trade down, every time. Also agree on Dyami, I recommend everyone check out his YouTube channel, he's working with an ex-NFL receiver on his route running and could pop this year with Wentz throwing to him. Funny how so many are quick to give up on him. No need to correct yourself on the name. I'll always call them the Redskins too.
  3. I totally think the plan is to bring in competition/developmental prospect at Guard. Wes and Norwell can start this year but we absolutely need more injury depth and need to start grooming their replacement(s). Bonus points if we hit a homerun and the rook beats Wes out for the starting RG job in camp. My money would be on a college Tackle that projects inside at the NFL level, and Ron and Co. Will praise their "position flex"
  4. For the record I prefer Alec Pierce over Watson. Higher floor. But fwiw Watson had the highest average yards per catch at a ridiculous 20yd per.
  5. Didn't say it was likely but anything can happen if the right team falls in love with a player. They very well could like Willis or Pickett if they fall to us.
  6. So it basically comes down to, if you like staying put at 11, you're fine with coming away with a WR2 at best, 6-800 yard receiver with a 1st rounder, and one other chance for a difference maker player with our 2nd rounder. With the depth of this draft, a trade down could net us 4 impact players easily. A draft of Watson and Kenneth Walker and A LB/Buffalo Nick sounds a whole lot better than Olave and having to plug the other positions with post-draft veteran FAs
  7. Funnily enough I just watched Chris Simms WR rankings and they line up with how I feel about the Ohio State guys not being worth pick 11. He also sees what I see in Alec Pierce. Dude is gonna be a steal WR 1. Jameson Williams 2. Christian Watson 3. Alec Pierce 4. Treylon Burks 5. Drake London RB rankings 1. Kenneth Walker 2. Breece Hall 3. Damian Pierce
  8. Funny how you also listed all of our team needs.... Not to mention the players at those positions this year are better than last year's in the 2nd. BRB. Penning a letter to Dan to force Ron and Marty to trade down to make up for forcing Haskins.
  9. I'd Kill to fleece a team like the Eagles did, but instead of 2023 picks, get them all in this year's draft. Getting multiple 2s and 3s this year could be franchise altering.
  10. A big WR gives us a dynamic in the end zone that none of our current receivers can provide, in addition to Wentz liking to throw up 50/50 balls....need a big body that can box out and high point above the defender. It's moreso about him not having WR1 potential. As another poster said, we would regret taking Olave a year from now if we see who we passed on to take him that turns out to be a pro-bowler. I'm fine with Olave in the 20 range but still wouldn't be that happy. Just my opinion. People are just gun-shy after the Jamin Davis pick I think...they want the highest floor prospect. Really hope the Lions offer us 32 and 34 and a 3rd for 11 overall and we can really stack our team with players. Kenneth Walker/Hall at RB | Pickens/Watson/Pierce - WR | Muma/Andersen/Chenal - LB | Pitre/Brisker - Buffalo We could just sit back and let the BPA at position of need that falls and address our many problems on this team as opposed to only one with Olave. I've never seen a draft more perfect for a trade down. Usually the drop off is extremely steep, but not this year. And the strength of this draft aligns with our needs. Calling it now. We will regret it staying at 11 after we see the amount of starters and pro bowlers that come out of the 2nd/3rd round this year.
  11. I just think drafting a WR that you know going into it doesn't have the potential to be a WR1 in the 1st round is a waste. Is it a safe pick? Sure. But I feel like Olave isnt much more exciting than a sophomore Dyami Brown to me. Olave is also more of the same of what we already have in the WR room. We only have one big threat in Cam Sims. I'd rather draft a Pickens/Watkins. A big WR that compliments Terry well but also have potential to break out into a WR1 themselves.
  12. Terry and Olaves friendship makes the interest APPEAR legitimate. It's honestly the perfect smoke screen for other teams in love with Olave to trade up. I personally could see the Steelers coming up to grab a QB, or the Chiefs/Packers jumping up to draft a WR at 11. My dream scenario is the Lions trading 32 and 34 to us plus a third this year or next year. Puts us right in the sweet spot in the meat of this draft. I too love the BYU kid, he's on my list of favorites in the later rounds as a complimentary back.
  13. Really hope all this obvious, out in the open interest in Olave is a smoke screen to entice WR needy teams to bite on a trade up. Do not like his value at 11 at all. You draft a WR at 11 overall that has WR1 upside. Olave does not have WR1 upside. This is an insanely deep draft class due to covid. Not to mention, it's deep at multiple positions of need for us. We have to do everything we can to trade back. I'd rather trade down and get a big body WR target for Wentz. I also am liking Dyami Browns development this off-season (been following his YouTube series, route running looks fantastic). Give me Pickens/Watkins/Pierce after a trade down at WR over Olave all day. Need to address linebacker/buffalo nickel in 2nd/3rd Troy Andersen potentially does both. People are also sleeping on Leo Chenal... He's MLB-1 for me and it's not close. People think he can't cover but he just wasn't asked to. Micah Parsons level blitzer as well. Also need a TE. Jelani Woods or Daniel Bellinger. Like Myjai Sanders in the 4th as DE depth and a developmental replacement for Sweat (if we can't re-sign) Damien Pierce in the 5th at HB. Perfect compliment for Antonio Gibson. Also need OL depth/competition. Like Luke Goedeke. As you can see, we have too many needs to not trade back.
