Emerging Technologies....They Might Have Cured Cancer
Forever A Redskin replied to PleaseBlitz's topic in The Tailgate
Musk is doing amazing things. Any American that loves diversity and inclusion should be elated about the idea of an African-American buying Twitter. The negative response some people are having is quite alarming and odd. Even if they deny the proposal, he can simply sell his majority stake which will then tank the stock prices, then turn around and buy even more than his original 9 percent at a discounted rate. Quite impressive moves from Mr.Musk. -
The only thing that scares me about the Wentz trade and kicking the can down the road until next year if he bombs this year...is looking back and seeing Ridder, Howell, or one of the other QBs become pro bowlers and we missed out on taking one.

Of course, I agree. You have to get fair value. It's just a great draft to move down. Historically deep, maybe the deepest in NFL history due to covid.

This chart only further confirms the obvious that we should trade down. Trading down with Steelers would be nice if Burks is on our radar. Olave could also be there if we truly like him that much. Take him, Burks, or Watson whoever falls. Dax Hill seems almost guaranteed to be there so long as we don't trade out of the 1st round completely. I'm targeting the Chiefs and Lions picks HEAVY if it were me. 28+29 or 32&34 would be wonderful in this year's draft. Sit there and take the BPA at position of need. Second pick gives you great flexibility to pick yet another BPA or trade down further. Plus whatever mid rounder/future picks they would potentially throw in to the deal. Also according to the chart, the idea of Breece Hall or Walker being available at 47 seems a little unlikely.

Remember when people were censored/banned for mentioning the possibility of a lab leak being the cause of covid? That's the kind of stuff that stops when Musk buys Twitter. Besides, censoring people only makes them stronger. It only proves you're scared of what they have to say. Twitter should be the public town hall. Civil debates with information from both sides of issues where people can form their own opinion. Not be forced to believe whatever is spouted from a list of "approved" sources or risk being censored. You should be able to win fair and square without censoring your opponent if the Democrats are doing such a great job. Things as silly as hashtags #learntocode were banned from Twitter. Just because people were offended. If you're offended by something, feel free to block the person. Not being able to offend people is exactly why comedy isn't funny anymore. All of the comedy greats wouldn't be able to exist in the current climate. Just look at the backlash against Dave Chappelle. Woke PC culture has ruined everything. Including our beloved Football Team, the Redskins.

I wonder if the team thinks Darrian Beavers is a potential fit at Mike. Rivera chatted him up at the Cincy pro day. I think he's a prototypical Sam. But maybe he thinks he could Play Mike?

I'd love 28 and 29 from the chiefs plus a mid rounder this year (preferably) or next year's 2nd Take a player with one of them and trade down again with the other. Or take a player with both. Either way.

Don't think much of ChadWiko. Dudes been wrong quite a bit. Tend to believe Keim more than most.

So just like I said, Elon can buy more than 14 percent of Twitter and has filed an offer to buy 100%. What a beautiful thing that would be. Also mentioned he would have to rethink his current stake if they don't accept his offer. Watching the reaction has been pretty hilarious. I can post sources for all those who don't like using Google. As a free speech absolutist, I'm loving it.

I think the team has made the same realization a lot of us have. That with the depth of the draft the drop off from Lloyd to the 2nd round LBs isn't that huge. I think their top-30 visits are really telling. The majority of their interviews are 2-5th round talents. That sounds like a trade back to me. Agreed. I think the whole point of Wentz was to buy one more year building the rest of the roster. Cut bait if he doesn't work out, and trade up next year for their guy. Unless of course Wentz surprises everyone and figures it out finally. Another reason I think we trade back is to recoup the lost picks from Wentz.

Please, do share the list of accepted news sources. Is there a thread on ES listing them? Or are you maintaining a Wikipedia page for accepted sources in political discussion? I responded with multiple videos and news articles. Am I on trial for my opinions and beliefs? Thought the tailgate was a place to openly discuss opinion and non football related topics. I feel I more than supported the claims I made in my OP. If you guys think the left is doing a great job. Awesome. I don't. And the majority of America doesn't (my opinion, and approval ratings)

Just rooting for anything but what's going on now. The likelihood of a libertarian winning an election is slim. Doesn't change my personal beliefs. I moreso was pointing out the insanity of defending that the Democrats are doing a good job when all the signs are pointing to that they aren't, and are in for a rude awakening at the midterms. But I'm fine with it. Enjoy it while it lasts I suppose.
