Agreed. You don't just keep a stat padder and regular season hero on big money for the sake of it. He's a complete melter in prime time and the play offs, his brain freezes and he makes shocking decisions. Kurt may have been better than the dross we've had to endure for so long, but that doesn't make him a big game elite qb.

wow that one really has me thinking A guy who runs a play that takes 2-3 seconds to develop when you need a yard in against a stacked box anticipating it or a guy who played soft prevent coverage on almost every down and distance

Scott Tuner LOVES a very slow developing play when you only need a yard on 3rd/4th down its incredible how he's employed in the league in any capacity

Be interesting how Rivera divides the snaps between TH and SH he has to give SH meanginful amount or else why even name him, ideally he gets a lot of first team reps in practice and isn't just put into the game when Dallas still has a few defensive starters on the field

Yep. Turner is clearly, by any measure a terrible OC. Both Wentz and Heinicke are very limited qbs with massive faults and neither should be around next year unless as a backup, but Kyle Shanahan/McVay/Stefanski/Reid and others would certainly elevate them/design game plans to hide their flaws. Ideally wentz and turner are both gone next year and Heinicke only around as a cheap backup. Howell should not be held back next week. If he throws three picks while being chased around by Parsons so what? No one will mark him as a bust. If he makes some nice plays and shows pocket awareness then great, something to build on. Literally absolutely nothing will be gained by playing Wentz or Heinicke next week, throwing receivers into positions to get lit up or interceptions. Neither should ever start again for the team.

Regardless of all of Heinicke's (many, many) failings, Wentz is playing worse than Beck/Grossmam/post ACL RG3 out there. Awful pass into the ground to the RB and now his supposed big arm woefully underthrows a pass. Get him out of here.

Wentz will be on his 4th team in as many seasons next year. TH will be around as Commanders backup, or maybe starter if they draft another qb/sign another FA or keep Howell on the bench. TH will never be even a mid tier starter, but I'd rather watch him play his guts out and get what he can from this team then watch Wentz stand still, throw huge bombs then ugly picks and take sacks.

Even up to last week I was arguing about the issues with the team, who the main culprits are (o line/wentz/turner) etc After that misery I don't even care lol Ron will grind out 2-3 more wins when Young is back, the team will miss out on the top tier draft picks, they might make another terrible Landon Collins style FA signing to entice fans and the cycle of mediocrity will continue. but yeah, I'll still be watching next week

Dan will interfere and pick some reach qb he's taken a fancy to. Or another edge rusher and the team will start next season with Norwell at center, Wes Martin at guard and that bust Titans 1st round pick at left tackle.

I love this place as a support group. I think supporting this team in isolation would have sent me to Shutter island years ago.
