  1. Having Tua right now would have been so much fun. Still upset we passed on him. But oh well if we find a qb in the next draft and Young turns out to be worth a #2 pick it will work out. But it’s not the best sign teams can already take Young out of the game.
  2. I'm in the same boat, except my expectations have gone to just praying he has a career as good as Kerrigans. I just don't see it watching the games, sometimes I forget he even played because you rarely hear his name or see him make plays. So questioning the lack of productions seems like a normal thing yet these guys seem to be arguing that other teams have successful game plans that shut him down. Oh well, maybe he turns out to be the generational can't pass up #2 pick that we were sold. I have my doubts.
  3. I mean, it's pretty subjective to say someone who isn't producing is actually really good. All I'm hearing is teams have game plans that shut him down. And that's a good thing? Haha. Not being cynical at all, just realistic.
  4. I hope you're right. I definitely don't think you are, but we will see. Anyone who's not a little concerned about the lack of production is just being naïve. You would hope the #2 pick in the draft and an absolute can't miss talent was a little more disruptive than he's been.
  5. I've heard so many excuses for the lack of production of Washington draft picks the past 30 years I just can't anymore. We just went through this same thing with Haskins. His pressures are barely more than a 4th round draft pick and he's barely top 90 in the league. If that's what you expect out of the #2 pick in the draft who's supposed to be an absolute game changer and dominate the line of scrimmage, than I don't know what to tell you. Wilfork was a massive DT and Kirk is a QB. Let me know about other elite DE's that don't put up productive numbers. Since you watch games and are a big expert. Lol.
  6. Not sure if you know this, but production is kind of important in the game of football.
  7. Depends where you look. The qb pressures (qb knockdowns + qb hurries + sacks) he's tied for 87th with 1 knockdown, 3 hurries, and 3.5 sacks. I mean if you guys see something special that's fine, I just haven't seen anything that impressive for a #2 can't pass up pick.
  8. He has 1 sack, 2 qb hits, and 3 tackles for loss in his last 5 games. He's also had 1 qb knock this year, and 3 qb hurries. He also was easily handled by one blocker yesterday and provided no impact to the game. I've watched every game this year, and it's ridiculous to try to pretend he's lived up to expectations. He's been underwhelming by every stretch. Someone who should be dominating the line of scrimmage and making an easy to see impact every game. There has been nothing impressive about his season this far. I'm glad he has made 1 or 2 plays this season. I mean, when you have as low expectations as you do, it doesn't take much to impress, lol.
  9. “Dumb” to expect more from the #2 pick than what he’s given the past 5 games and the season as a whole. Okay. Good luck with those low expectations.
  10. Sacks are the least of his issues. He has no impact on the game. Easily blocked with a single guy.
  11. Been pretty mediocre the last 5 games, not what you expect to be getting with the #2 pick. Oh well, the odds of our picks being busts is far greater than them being good.
  12. Lawrence or Fields if we are 1 or 2. If not, this is where the coaches have to make the big bucks. Not really a good offseason for vet qbs. Don't want to give Dak the contract he wants and not even sure Cam wants to play with this terrible team. We might be stuck in 2021 just rebuilding the team and running out Allen or some other mediocre vet. I guess maybe Lance, but I'm not sold on him like Lawrence and Fields. And the rest of the qb class in the draft doesn't look that appealing to waste a 2nd or 3rd on.
  13. Let’s see what he can do with a qb that can make plays. Rams game he did more getting Allen out of the pocket. Now just have to scheme up some plays downfield. I’m sure he was just trying to get Allen some easy throws and get the rust off and unfortunately lost him before they can open up the playbook. He’s been dealing with statistically the worst qb in the league 2 years in a row. Give him a chance with a better qb.
  14. Bears came back down two scores under 5 minutes today. Ron is coming off very arrogant with this. Not liking it at all.
  15. I had so much hope for Rivera. This whole throwing in the towel and not trying to win games is leaving me a little less hopeful. Game looked more of the same.
  16. This right here. He should have taken the timeouts and given Haskins a chance to run the two minute drill just for practice reps at it. Giving up squandered a good chance for Haskins to learn.
  17. Last time he said he doesn't want to risk injury. Kind of an odd theory.
  18. And if the Hawks beat the Cowboys... we'll still be tied for 1st place!! But the NFC East is by far the worst division in football. The Giants are worse off than we are and somehow Wentz has regressed in to a career backup.
  19. Damn this went from winning culture to more of the same real quick. I still have hope, need a big drive here.
  20. Go to the Haskins thread. I thought I was crazy until I came to this thread. They had me believing WFT fans were all in on Haskins
  21. Get some Washington!! Best 1st quarter I've seen seen from them in a while. That d line is naughty
