  1. That sack looked worse than it was. Saw mahommes leg bed back
  2. This is why I hate the FO coach centric approach. It rarely ever works and it seems like when it does it’s because they have a good to great QB.
  3. Okay. We’re all typing, but good lord that was smooth.
  4. Thanks, that was the word I was missing. Homerun threat. We thought we were getting that with Gibson, but we only got that in his first year. I think BRob does great in the passing game, but he’s not a threat to take one to the house This would be ideal. I’d be okay with taking one in FA this year (1-2yr deal) and look to draft one next year.
  5. I think some really want someone a bit more elusive. CRod and BRob are missing that shiftiness and breakaway speed. I like both of them on the team for the record.
  6. can’t say for sure. If I had to guess I would say that most of these HC candidates have a short list of who’d they bring if hired and have told those coaches their intent. Obviously these coaches can take offers elsewhere and surely have in the past.
  7. I like to save in season hard knocks for times like these. Not quite the same, but I enjoy just about anything football related
  8. I’m back and forth on it. If we don’t intend to go crazy at other positions in FA and we have the $$$, he would be nice to have for the development of a young QB. Otherwise, if his signing were to eliminate say an OL or any other big position of need I would pass.
  9. Personally I’m very excited that he’d be bringing Fraley along for several reasons. The biggest being he’s likely not going to get poached, assuming he’s not calling plays.
  10. He got those hands up real quick.
  11. I thought you may have been, but we all know there are those type of people out there! Unfortunately for our HC he will likely be tied to a QB, so their success does heavily depend on that.
  12. I think that’s fair, but it could depend on the D as well. If we’re putting up points and our young QB looks great, but our defense is garbage I’d personally wait. What do I know though, I was still riding on optimism going into this season.
  13. Agreed. I also believe that recency bias plays a factor as well. We see it every few years in the draft. A type/style of player does well and then teams, the media, and scout types push them up boards. For instance, Daniels reminds some of Lamar and Hurts. While Maye gives off Trevor Lawrence and Herbert vibes. Not to say that due diligence isn’t done on these players, but I think that’s what some hope they’re getting
  14. Seattle is such a curveball in this scenario. I’ve thought Quinn would be the perfect successor for Carrol, assuming they want to go a similar route.
  15. I’d say anything is possible, but Vrabel could wait assuming he’s still collecting a check. However, what you suggest would be my dream scenario: Ben Johnson and DC Vrabel
  16. One thing that stood out to me about Peter’s was his several mentions of collaboration. Specifically the last day of the draft the 49ers do a huddle and everyone has a say on who should be picked and why. I think that is something our team hasn’t had in a long time. Yeah it sucks he has to work with what he has, but that’s not to say that our scouts aren’t any worse than other teams. It was likely who we had making those final decisions that lead us to where we are.
  17. Pretty sure that’s free agents. He doesn’t crack the top 10 otherwise.
  18. Oh it’s not me, I was just saying what he keeps saying. I don’t care one way or the other.
  19. Everyone’s available according to him. No one is safe
