  1. Without checking post history, I feel like some of these people are also the ones willing to give Haskins endless chances and excuses. Haskins never showed anything close to what Taylor did last night, but people wanted to give him 16 games, more Oline help, etc. When you see it you recognize it. Even his teammates see it.
  2. Agreed wholeheartedly. The only doubt people should have is the sustainability of his tough as nails play. That performance alone makes him my favorite Redskins after only Sean Taylor. Call me insane I don’t care. I have faith in this kid. Build the D, improve his weapons, and let’s rock.
  3. This is what I expect, but the change probably needs to happen before the second half. We will need a lights out game from the D and a big special teams play. (Hopefully the refs let them play and we don't get backbreaking holding calls that will ultimately kill our drives, or ticky-tack roughing calls for Tom.)
  4. I love how Sean $&@%#* up their Olineman before the fumble recovery. He was always smacking people
  5. This looks great with the striped socks. What an amazing game. I watched it in Joe Gibbs’ old house.
  6. Gold pants with white tops looks fire. Way better than burgundy on burgundy. burgundy on gold white on gold white on white Any other stinks
  7. Forget who told me Zach wouldn’t be a top 5 pick late last week. After tonight he is almost certainly the second pick in the draft. Dudes a baller.
  8. Well I know my opinion is dog (you know what) compared to professional scouts and even some of you who do a great job breaking down prospects, but I never had any faith in Winston, and wasn't very high on Mariotta or Mitch (although Mitch is playing better football right now.) I just want to go on record with the Zach train so I can look back and say 'told you so.' Agreed. I love Alex and what he has done for this team, but before he got here the Chiefs may have started their run a season earlier had they played Mahomes all year or at least the end of the year.
  9. Cam is not coming here. I agree Stafford would be the safest move, but Zach Wilson is the real deal. Giving up multiple firsts (2021, 2022) would be worth it. It probably takes more than that, though.
  10. @KDawg. You can get Stafford and retool. It just depends on the cost. I am not advocating giving up a first. The best bet would be to improve the QB position this offseason as well as draft someone to develop. Counting on Kyle and Alex to be healthy for 16 games and be above average is a risk. Also - what are the chances we build a dynasty? Slim. Everyone wants a dynasty, but if you can compete next year for a SuperBowl, you go for it.
  11. Yes, he does. But we should totally draft a kid this year, too. Stafford, Allen, Rookie. (Assuming Alex retires.) If Alex wants to stay, I assume Stafford is off the table. But we will still draft a QB, and we should.
  12. Stafford is a surefire top 15 QB today (PFF has him at 13.) Alex is one of the bottom starters in the league (PFF has him at 30, Haskins is 39 for reference.) You move from a bottom half starter to an upper half starter, you significantly improve the team. More points. More leads being protected. More of a chance for the defense to attack. Synergy baby. Stafford makes so much sense. I just don't think the Lions get rid of him. But we will see.
  13. I watched the game, did you? Even with the loss, you can see he has the skillset needed to make it at the next level. We have 5 months between now and the draft. Once workouts, interviews, etc. have taken place, he's going to fly up the boards. It happens with prospects all the time. (Also, that game was not a bowl game.) I wouldn't mind Tyrod being brought in, but Haskins won't be here.
  14. Wilson will be a top 10 if not top 5 pick. Not sure how much it would take to trade with say, the Bengals, to get in position to grab him, but I am totally onboard with it. I don't want any part of Fields. Big10 QBs scare me. He seems to have a clean pocket and open guys every play. I'm fully in on Zach.
  15. I don't get these physical tools comments. Yes Haskins is big, he can stand and take a hit, and he can throw the ball hard/far. But he can't PASS. That's just a natural gift and he can not do it. Neither Haskins or Cam are on this roster next year. Like many have said, Alex is an uncertainty. But even if he wants to be here, we still need to upgrade. If Kyle wasn't hurt, I am convinced we would have rolled into the draft without a FA signing at QB. But if Alex retires, due to Kyle's injury, we make a move for another Vet. The only ones that truly upgrade our situation are probably Stafford (without giving up major assets) and Phillip. But I think they go mid-level QB, say Fitz, and then draft someone high. At least, that would be my preference. Agreed. And if he wasn't injured, we wouldn't have had as much pressure to upgrade in FA. But we will sign/trade for someone else. I am certain, though, Cam isn't going to be that guy. Stafford would really put us over the top IMO. Then draft someone to sit behind he and Kyle (this is all assuming Alex isn't back.)
  16. Keep Allen, Payne, Ion and Settle as well as the ends. Keep drafting aggressive athletes like Curl to play behind that group. Cycle those players like the Panthers did. I wonder how much Peterson or Sherman would be this offseason? Would either be good with a 1 year deal?
  17. No. I suggested Landon at LB a while back, but his biggest flaws before his injury was missed tackles and coverage of TEs and RBs. He seems cooked at this point. We need a true ILB moving forward. Landon can play the Hudson role next year. I am hoping Hudson can take that WILL spot.
  18. The guy is 20, so it will be an ongoing process as far as his maturity, especially after you hand him more money than he has ever seen. I think Doug and RR are up to the task of helping to groom the young man into a professional you can count on. And if not, it was worth the gamble. I predict he will be the starting LT day one, outperforming Moses even.
  19. Things are about to get much worse. Earliest peak projection is May or June.
