    Chase Young is the easiest guy to block on our defensive line right now IMO. He isn't nearly as good as your post claims he is, and fans should be concerned that he's been such a non factor. Guess I'm not a real football fan.

    The arm strength will hold Heinicke back from being elite. That doesn't mean he can't be a good QB.

    It's sucks, if this was a team that was spearheaded by a strong defense like we anticipated, imagine the excitement that would be around the team right now. Once again though, one side of the ball clicks while the other looks awful. Opposite of 2020 lol.

    Feels like the offense generally moves the ball well with Heinicke. He isn't some superstar QB, but the needle for me is moving in a positive direction with him. Definitely a starter, and if the team around him was any good (defense mostly), we could do some damage to teams. If the defense was worth ANYTHING we would be 3-1 right now. Heinicke is getting the job done at a higher level than we could have anticipated.

    Chase is clearly in his own head out there in the field, hopefully this doesn't get worse and he figures it out. That should have been his first sack and he blew it.

    How is our offense better than our defense, and not by just a little. They look much more competent.

    Chase Young is more likely to turn into Clowney than he is Reggie White at this current trajectory. Reggie White dominated right away, Chase Young's domination in his rookie season was greatly exaggerated. His rookie season wasn't even close to Nick Bosa's.

    Everything points to the players having a complete lack of faith in Del Rio's system. It's still their fault though because they aren't even giving the system a chance if they're freelancing and doing whatever they want. They're just trying to collect stats.

    For the 3rd straight game, we deferred and the opposing team marched down the field and scored with ease right away. When is the coaching staff going to realize that there is a template to beat this defense and everyone has figured them out? It's obvious to me that every team is attacking us the exact same way.

    When you break down the production, Chase Young had a very similar season to Preston Smith's rookie season. That doesn't make him a bust, but I am not seeing #2 pick material with him, he's underachieving based on his draft status and hype. Obviously when you watch the games, you can see Chase plays differently than Preston, but the production is very similar and that's all that should matter in the NFL.
