  1. of course Lillard was better this season, Kyrie was coming back from a knee injury. He only started looking right again around March. Thats why I used the sample size of their entire careers. Kyrie has been a better NBA player than Dame Lillard. Even the stats show that. And Kyrie was going nowhere with a terrible team while Lillard had an all star in Aldridge beside him and Nick Batum. Even with that, Kyrie STILL put up better numbers. He better. We can do this dance all day but the stats show it along with the eye test, Kyrie better. And he 20 months younger than Lillard so he will GET much better too. And LOL at riding Lebron's coat tails to a ring. Who hit the shot that gave them the lead in game 7 again? There was a stretch in that series where Kyrie was playing better than Lebron. Dude, when you have an agenda there is nothing thats stopping you. Not even facts, stats, nothing. Its hilarious lol.
  2. yeah over their careers, Lillard averages just one more point than Kyrie while Kyrie has a 3 percentage point higher FG%. Lillard dominates the ball in Portland while Kyrie has Lebron dominate the ball. And Kyrie has a higher PER over their careers than Lillard. Kyrie is just better than Lillard. And the last time they played, he dropped 55 on him while Lillard had 19. Lebron didnt play that game too.
  3. Kyrie averages one point less and one assist less. He does this while shooting 3 percentage points higher. Neither dude plays good defense and Kyrie a better playmaker. Kyrie is a better player than Lillard. I would even go as far to say its not that close. (not a blowout, but its not close enough where you can ask the question as to why is Lillard on the team over Kyrie) I say this even removing the finals as out of my mind. The only thing Lillard has over Kryrie is that he stay healthy but Kyrie better and more talented. see you cant type stuff like this when the numbers do not back it up.
  4. Stop itLillard is NOT better than Kyrie. You can look at their head to head matchups and see that. He outplayed Westbrook in the conference finals or are we ignoring that? Somehow this is Kobe's fault
  5. Wall wont be here by 2019. Just cant see it. He wants to win a title and this team is nowhere near it.
  6. well he is an NBA GM, so he should try to look for those diamonds in the rough and develop them. He just dont do a good job of it.
  7. if Carter stays another year, it would not improve his draft stock. He is a 6'8" PF with no bounce and no perimeter skill. He was not going to show that at UMD. Going pro, he at least has a chance to earn money somewhere. Earning money>>>>playing for free. What is a joke is your attempt to hide your contempt with Carter leaving early to his draft position when its really about you wanting to see a better bball team next season.
  8. yes, in only a few states. Then the Supreme Court usually strikes it down. This is not a fight anymore. We need to move on from it. Most of the abortion fight takes place in 4 or 5 states from what I have observed.
  9. In fairness, I never said the people who oppose it are lunatics. I said the people who are fighting the battle are. Thats both sides. Its only in the consciousness of a a relatively small minority. I said the fight is over and those who fight it are, which I do believe. Its dead.
  10. Abortion is a dead fight that only a few lunatics still fight. Its time to move on from it.
  11. Barnes is limited because he cant create for himself off the dribble. Does not have the best jumpshot and has weak handles. Klay and Steph are why Barnes is even what you deem efficient.
  12. Baby Boomers were the worst generation. I think its time for us all to admit that.
  13. well to counter that point, what if Curry's knee wasnt wrecked or Bogut doesnt get injured? that is why "what ifs" and asterisks are nonsense.
  14. Durant would have to change conferences for that to happen.
  15. am i the only one who watched game 6 of the 1998 finals? or game 7 of the Indiana/Bulls series that year?
  16. the only time an ESPN personality got at Skip was Jalen Rose. He has not been on First Take since. ESPN is that petty that they will encourage its guys to go at someone leaving.
  17. The 2008/2009 Cavs had a higher ELO rating than the 96/97 Jazz. There are many more messes in that ranking too but maybe you should scrutinize the data more the get back to me. The Jazz were not a great team, they just hung around until the rest if the west got old.
  18. how can you take out the Sixers? Especially the championship team that won 67 65 games and only lost one game in the postseason? Thats crazy. They also got in epic battled with both the Lakers and Celtics. I only took the Rockets out because they were not an all time great team. Those early 80s Sixers teams could have won 3 or 4 titles The Sixers>Pistons in the 1980s. I didnt include the 60s because the Celtics were the great team, but the 67 Sixers were also an all time team and were a legit rival to the them. WHo was the 90s Bulls big rival?
  19. The Jazz were not a great team. Stockton and Malone went to the finals after all the really strong Western Conference teams got old and disbanded. They got to the finals because they lasted the longest. The Rockets would have gave the Bulls a matchup nightmare, but when I say great I mean in the all time realm. The Rockets have never been in that convo. The Bulls are the only team we remember from the 1990s. Look at the 80s, Celtics, Lakers, and Sixers. 70s had the Knicks and Celtics teams.
  20. so Jordan was on a stacked team, while Lebron has won without being on a stacked team. It most other conversations, the guy who did it on a underdog is usually seen as better. im not knocking Jordan at all. If anything, I am using conventional sport fan narratives. I think I read Lebron has only been favored in 2 of his 7 finals matchups in his career. I dont think Lebron is better than Jordan but im also not going to dismiss it out of hand like many people will. Just the "Jordan is 6-0 in finals" talking point is completely devoid of context. The Bulls were the ONLY great team in the 1990s. Thats not hyperbole or dissing them, its just the real.
  21. Jordan also never faced a finals opponent that was favored against him. Never won a team that won 73 games.
  22. Lebron is only behind Kareem and Mike. Top 3 player ever. And he could pass those two. (harder with Kareem) The story will be about Steph and Klay going cold, but Kerr needs to be held accountable. Why was Ezeli playing in the 4th quarter? He was a cancer out there.
  23. nah, Barnes will get a max deal this summer and be the new Trevor Ariza. Ezeli, idk. I know he near 7 feet but he has no hands and the game is not played in a way that favors bigs who cant even catch lobs.
