  1. Has Rodman ever had a season as good as Draymond's last year? or this year? And yes, Dramond is a better rim protector. Rodman could not play in this NBA.
  2. Again, I watched Rodman play. When he was lighter, he could guard perimeter guys well. When he added weight, he was guarding guys in the paint well. THere was never a point in his career when he could guard the 1-5 like its popularized. Also, Draymond averaged 1.3 blocks a game last season and 1.4 blocks a game this season. Rodman never averaged a block a game. He a better rim protector than Rodman. Draymond is so much better than Rodman that I am a bit incredulous that anyone can think otherwise outside of nostalgia. And I watched Rodman with the Pistons, Spurs, and Bulls. He was never a better bball player than Green.
  3. He a better player than Rodman, much better. Rodman never had a season as good as Draymond's last season. Rodman was a beast defender, but Draymond is better. If I told you that Draymond was a better rim protector than Draymond Rodman, you wouldnt believe me until you looked at the numbers and saw that Draymond averages more blocks than Draymond Rodman. Rodman would often times doe hte Kevin Love thing and sacrifice some defending for rebounding. And Draymond is a much better offensive player that we dont even consider it. I put it like this, Draymond could play in the 80s and 90s. NBA teams may not use him the same way, although Anthony Mason was one of the first guys who played that way back in the early 90s, due to the fact that he can provide an offensive spark. There is no way you can play Dennis Rodman in today's NBA. Not with him being an offensive liability and teams exploiting that.
  4. is there any evidence of this other than his NAIA averages? Draymond>>>>Rodman. Much Better offensive player (altho Rodman's passing was underrated), and a better defender. Better rim protector, can guard the 3-5 (Rodman could guard 1-3 early in his career when he was lighter, while he could guard 4s and 5s as he was older). Draymond is a special, special, special player. Rodman is a better rebounder, but if he had to do what Draymond does then his rebound numbers would dip.
  5. its much worse. not even close. For one, Kobe didnt publish the audio while Russell uploaded it. Russell's intentions were to play Nick Young while Kobe was shook and facing a rape charge.
  6. this is a weak draft for guards. Melo is leaving. And I see no way he gets into the lottery over next two seasons. He not that type of talent. Dont care what anyone says, this was a disappointing season. Expectations were not met.
  7. tbf, he didnt call Irving or Love his brother lol and those 4 all grew up together. Bron and Melo known each other since htey were 16/17 years old. Why does grown men having friends bother you?
  8. i have a feeling this is true of Melo, Carter, and Stone. was at the game last night it was brutal. they could not shoot and Brionna Jones looked intimidated. They had no answer for the zone.
  9. Ben Simmons has a terrible head coach while Rose and Melo had HOFers on their sidelines.
  10. concocted stuff. Durant defends Russy hard and has for a while. They consider each other brothers. Russy doesnt take away from Durant's stats. Thats been statistically shown over hte last few years. Durant being physically weak takes away from his numbers. Not Westbrook. Durant is taking 19 a game now. The issue is coaching there and Russy and Durant not trusting their teammates.
  11. OKC's part owner, Aubrey McClendon, may have committed suicide today after he was indicted on a conspiracy charge yesterday. https://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ball-dont-lie/okc-thunder-part-owner-aubrey-mcclendon-dies-in-car-crash-one-day-after-indictment-203114740.html
  12. Ernie only builds teams to try and make the playoffs. Every move he has made here has been about making the playoffs and nothing more. Thats why he has to go.
  13. Yeah, someone mentioned this is the classic out of the tournament early team and I agree. Its crazy because this is the most talented team in America and it seems like its going to be wasted.
  14. David Robinson is another example. He was one of the most athletic centers ever, but when he got that back injury in 1997, he was never the same player after. Tracy McGrady as well.
  15. While Dwight is a better center than Gortat, I dont want Dwight around here. He is athletically in decline and thinks he is much better offensively than he is. Simmons threw up an interesting trade thats over now since Birdman was traded to Memphis, but he suggested Gortat and Dudley for Whiteside, Anderson, and Deng. I would have done the trade.
