  1. He flat out says it on his (Keim's) podcast. Was actually shocking to hear how matter of fact he was about it too. Named Charles Leno as one of the players.
  2. Just listened to Keim's podcast. @Skinsinparadise summed it up nicely. The people he spoke to in the locker room do not want Bieniemy as the interim head coach. Players are actually telling Keim that they think Bieniemy has too much power and that Ron needs to get some back. Keim isn't one to b.s. and isn't a tabloid type of reporter. I trust his reporting and he was very matter of fact about Bieniemy. That should put the final nail in the "give EB the reins" argument.
  3. This is why he decided to do it now, and not after getting embarrassed by Buffalo. He's only doing it to save his own skin. Why people cannot see that and think this is something worthy of jubilant celebration is beyond me. No celebrating until the entire staff (and all of that cancer Snyder hired) are gone.
  4. He was a disaster when he coached at Colorado. Also, all of those rape allegations against players during his tenure as well.
  5. Receivers almost always were open in 2021 and 2022. This year? Nope. Last year through 12 games the offense averaged 19.4 points per game. This year it's 20.5. Yay!
  6. I remember Robinson also taking a shot at the play calling after one of the early losses. Am I misremembering this, but wasn't there some reports that came out about players being okay with the "intensity" of being yelled at or belittled at the time (training camp or offseason) but that it would wear thin if the offense sputtered?
  7. Rivera is flailing at this point. Cannot wait for this entire staff to be gone.
  8. The fan's favorite scapegoat has been fired.
  9. There was an article written in the Washington Post...begging that Harris doesn't fire Rivera to elevate Bieniemy to head coach...because it would hurt his future chances at being a head coach. Lmao there is a bizarre desire for people to want to have this man get a job that he's totally unqualified for.
  10. Left hands up! Who are we? We're embarrassed.
  11. There were massive red flags with Bieniemy from day 1. 16 interviews by 15 teams and none of them took a chance on him? The biggest open secret in the NFL that he basically had nothing to do with the success in KC and it was Reid calling the plays and scheming the games? The only team to give him a lateral job offer (with total autonomy on the offense) was the one owned by Daniel Snyder? This was a disaster waiting to happen once he was hired. I'm glad Keim finally said something. This has been rumbling for the last few weeks. Remember when everyone thought it was so cool that he was "tough" during training camp? That intensity **** wears thin when you are incompetent at your job. You don't hear things like this about Del Rio or Ron. Good point. You don't hear players trashing Del Rio or Ron publicly or behind the scenes.
  12. It's never made any sense to do so, IMO. Barring a playoff win, Rivera was out. Del Rio too. So why retain the one guy who has not proven to have any sustained success as the next head coach? Keeping him as OC and then hiring a GM and then head coach is a Snyder hiring Zorn before the head coach type of move. You can make the argument that Howell is tied to Bieniemy, but that argument has always been silly. If Howell is a franchise guy, he shouldn't need one offensive coordinator to be successful. I think there was a time where Kirk had a different play caller going from 2016 to last season or 2021.
  13. It's highly unlikely, but suppose the Bears or Cardinals aren't ready to move on from Fields or Murray...Bears also have that #4 pick that they could deal as well.
  14. While I think this is ultimately a moot discussion, the wildcard for me is the new GM. Do they want to come in and make a splashy move via the draft? If so, I could see a trading up scenario.
  15. Why? We were assured all offseason that he was the guy behind the success in Kansas City.
  16. It's not unfair to say he was bad yesterday. He was terrible. There were at least two other passes that should have been interceptions yesterday.
  17. The receivers not being open pretty much all year while they almost always seemed to get open last year is 100% on the offensive scheme and coaching. It has to be. The "he leads the league in passing yards!" stat was always a bizarre one to crow about. He also leads the league in attempts...which would make sense that he would also have the most yards.
