  1. I never want to see any one on our team struggle. If Fitz is benched, that means he's already struggling. I don't know how he's going to do, but I hope he lights it up. As far as Taylor, what I watched against Tampa, I loved. He is always looking downfield 1st, then will take off if needed. I think this kid could be a good QB if given time to play.
  2. If this happens, and I'm hoping it does, Taylor will finish the season. All this kid needs is playing time, he has the tools to be a good QB.
  3. This entire D-line can be a nightmare this year.
  4. In just 1 week we went from the team that shouldn't be here to being called "Tenacious Washington" with a kid at QB who stole the hearts of millions watching. Washington QB Taylor Heinicke steals hearts of viewers with 'courageous' performance in loss to Bucs https://www.nfl.com/news/washington-qb-taylor-heinicke-steals-hearts-of-viewers-with-courageous-performan
  5. They have to give this kid a shot, he can ball. Honestly Warhead, I don't see another QB on this team that could have out played him last night.
  6. This kid is going to play and could have a huge affect on the outcome of this game, there is no way he took the snaps if that wasn't the plan.
  7. He's a game manager and that is all this team needs the way our defense is playing. I am very curious how well this kid Heinicke can play, too bad we didn't start him last week.
  8. For real, this was so damn simple. Just move the ball and don't turn it over multiple times. Thank God the last of the Snyder mistakes are gone!
  9. Yes we did Simmsy and for only one reason, panic. The multiple times we went down the field and came up empty, we could have kicked field goals and put us in position to win the game. Not only was this a very winnable game, but we would have smoked them with anyone besides Haskins. This is the mindset that Haskins put our coaches in. The only good thing that came out of this is other many forgot how good we were playing, and that 4 in a row roll we were on would easily be 6 now.
  10. If we get our running game on, it's a wrap! We will dominate this game on both sides of the ball and roll out of the Linc NFC East Champs.
  11. It's looking like Alex Smith is playing against the Eagles. Here's something else to ponder, we have only lost one game all season under Smith, and we have completely dominated every team in the second half, especially the games he started. This is a different team under Smiths leadership, they are not only a legit playoff contender, but are more than capable of knocking anyone out of the playoffs. Here's to knocking Philly out of our way and path to the Big Show! Happy New Year everyone!
  12. I agree, but this kid took us down the field twice and scored. If not for the BS holding call, we would be resting players Sunday Night. I will take Heinicke any day over Haskins. I agree.
  13. I didn't know much about this kid, but it's sounding like he is very athletic. Here are some things the coach said about him. He's really a good athlete. He wasn't invited to the Combine, but if he would've been, I think he would've finished in the top-three in all those athletic categories, whether it's 40-yard dash, broad jump, vertical jumps. https://www.nbcsports.com/washington/football-team/these-quotes-taylor-heinicke-may-your-confidence-potential-starter?fbclid=IwAR18WS1CNGu7Rl81H36Rn5rdMj-L6EWtFyOtl7DZ1sZv0H9Ys5nFrrY12z4
  14. I love it! Nobody wants to play us, I tell you that right now! Damn right they don't, and just wait until we get Gibson back and Smith feeling better. Give us the division in week 16, rest our players week 17 and look out for Washington in the playoffs!
  15. NFL.com https://www.nfl.com/news/week-14-what-we-learned-from-sunday-s-games 1) The Washington Football defense dominated, scoring twice and pummeling the San Francisco 49ers into submission. On a day in which Washington's offense was scuttled before and after Alex Smith went out due to injury, the defense proved it's playoff-worthy. The Teamers (6-7) walloped Nick Mullens for four sacks and 12 QB hits. Ron Rivera's D earned a pick, 11 passes defended, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Washington destroyed San Francisco at the point of attack, holding Kyle Shanahan's offense to 4.5 yards per play on 76 plays. Chase Young all but clinched the Defensive Rookie of the Year. The No. 2 overall pick was the best player on the field, wrecking everything the 49ers tried. Young compiled a sack, six tackles, two QB hits, a tackle for loss, a pass defended, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery for a score.
  16. We would have beat them by double digits if not for Smith going down. We have a Championship Defense, TY Chase Young!
  17. So is Washington, and there is no way this coach and this team is going to sleep on Carolina. As far as Seattle, they will rebound nice this week against a terrible Jets team, and take out all their frustrations on them. Most likely score over 40+ points and downplay the NY loss to bad play. Only to get beat down again next week by another good NFC East Defense. Every eye is looking at our Defense, and they earned it, but our offense is going under the radar. Washington's offense has scored damn near 60 points in the last 2 games. They put up 23 points on the #1 Defense in the league per points , without their starting RB, and did it in their back yard where not many opposing teams can score, much less than win. They outscored the best team in the league 20-3 in the 2nd half. They have outscored the last 3 opponents 57-6 in the 2nd half. Lets go back 6 games to the middle of the schedule, they have outscored opponents in the 2nd half 101-22! This Washington team kicks ass in the 2nd half, and is only 1 fix away from being a legit contender and one of the best teams in the league, and what needs fixed is their "slow starts". This offense can move the ball, control the clock and put the points on the board in the 2nd half, while this defense is shutting things down. If they can get this offense to start clicking in the 1st half, this team will run the table. If this offense continues to average 27-30 points a game going into the playoffs, they will not only be the team to look out for, but they will have just as good of a shot playing for the Lombardi as NO, GB or anyone else in this league.
  18. The biggest issue we have to fix is getting off to slow starts. There is no better 2nd half team than Washington, period! We have watched them completely shut down and out score teams by double digits in the 2nd half. If they can address and fix this issue right now, they will run the table and win this division.
  19. This is a team that could not just make noise in the playoffs, but beat anyone on any given day. We all know Defense wins Championships, but add an offense that is coming together, controlling the clock and putting points on the board, even against great defenses. That is a recipe for a Lombardi! Stay healthy, keep fighting, and take care of business in Sanfran.
  20. I just don't see Haskins ever becoming an elite QB. All the coaching in the world can't make an average pedestrian a great player. This kid struggles to hit an open receiver only 10 yards away.
  21. I just heard Romo out 6-10 weeks with broken back. http://www.si.com/nfl/2016/08/27/tony-romo-cowboys-injury-update-broken-bone-back?xid=aol_home Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has a broken bone in his back, head coach Jason Garrett told reporters on Saturday. Pro Football Talk reports Romo is expected to miss 6–10 weeks. NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reports that the best-case scenario is a mid-season return, noting that Romo played with a different broken bone in his back in 2014. There is currently no timetable for his return, according to the team, but it is not a season-ending injury.
