  1. That's fantastic that we've got one already! Just takes that first domino to fall ...
  2. LOL, this is so beyond laughable. So, the message they want to send their kids is, "Abuse your underlings, lie when you've been caught, pass the blame on to others, use your money to buy your way out of holes you dug for yourself and throw everyone under the bus you can to survive. Oh, and also, while you're doing this, suck. At EVERYTHING."
  3. Has anyone received any responses to their emails? I did read from the guy who started this thing that Inova asked him to take them off the list as they're not current partners with the team. So at least they were aware of it enough to comment.
  4. Good piece from Thom Loverro on this sham of an investigation. Should absolutely sicken people to see how this seems to have been planned from the start. https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2022/feb/8/nfls-investigation-washington-was-sham-start/
  5. I don't think they should be mutually exclusive. People like Hobson, Clarke, etc., are all about writing one major piece every few months or so. Great and important stuff, for sure, but the "ranting ass clowns," especially those with an audience, like Florio, are an important part of the process, too. I love that he's keeping this out there, and there's too much depth in a lot of what he's reporting to call it "clickbait," at least in this case. I've found him annoying and punchable in the past as well, but in this case at least, the "enemy of my enemy" line more than applies. Ranting ass clowns, come one, come all.
  6. Thanks for this. Filling it out today. And just a humble request .... keep the "this will accomplish nothing" peanut gallery comments out of this. Let people who are actually willing to try have their moment. Thank you.
  7. What I think could be going on here is Dan protecting the team ownership so that it stays with the family even if somehow he's forced out. I mean, if it ever gets to the point where Snyder just can't withstand the onslaught any longer and is forced to leave, what would that mean for "co-owner" Tanya? Would she be forced out too or would she just now become the OWNER? It almost seems like this has now been set up in this way to ensure that a Snyder will continue owning the team even if "Dan" doesn't.
  8. https://www.si.com/nfl/washingtonfootball/news/breaking-snyder-should-be-forced-to-sell-washington-football-team-nfl-investigation-recommends-report
  9. Well, remember, someone supposedly leaked a portion of the report to the Sports Junkies, local radio broadcasters. They claimed that the portion of the report they saw suggested that Dan be removed as their number one recommendation. I've heard through the grapevine that Snyder threatened to sue them, hence why they've never brought it up again.
  10. There's definitely a written report. Melanie Coburn confirmed that today on her interview. Hours upon hours of interviews, emails, phone calls, etc. ,etc. The NFL may not have it, but it exists.
  11. Melanie Coburn was just on Sheehan's show and confirmed that the Tiffani Johnston story revealed yesterday is new and was NOT in the Wilkinson Report. Apparently Tiffani was afraid to come forward with this, but when the report was buried, she decided enough is enough. What a brave woman. Maybe yesterday will inspire others to do the same.
  12. Just saw a long piece on this on CNN, including a live interview with Tiffani Johnston. That sort of coverage is what we need.
  13. CEOs, yes. Mafia bosses, even if they're the equivalent of a Fredo? No. It's just not enough unfortunately. Would love to be proven wrong though.
  14. I think because it's also not so black and white sexual assault, even if you believe every word the woman says (which I do). The worst thing he did is put his hand on her thigh, then lead her toward his limo but didn't actually follow through with pushing her inside or anything like that. Is that sexual assault? I don't know. Inappropriate contact and behavior of course. That said, Commander Dan says it's an outright lie, so ... all Hail the Commander in Chief!
  15. Just go back and watch the roundtable for full context. It's pretty engaging viewing. Nothingburger? You wouldn't think so, but I think most fans don't want to bother getting their hopes up at this point, which I totally get.
  16. Only "proof" I've seen is that he heard Larry tell the crew in 2008 that "the owner" had a "special project" for them to create. Then there's someone else in that HBO podcast that came out yesterday who says he saw an editor making a similar video in 2010, and when asked about it, that editor said "the owner told us to put this together." That editor said in last year's post article that Larry Michael told him to make DVDs of the video labeled "For Executive Meeting." Also apparently the soundtrack for both videos is U2 and the Rolling Stones, Dan's two favorite bands as he mentioned in a WaPo article at one point. So ... lots of circumstantial stuff there, and pretty strong at that. But ultimate proof? I don't think so at this point. Doesn't mean I don't believe it was him 100 percent though. Would almost have to get Larry Michael to flip, but he probably got a ton of money to keep his trap shut. You know, those "Skintangibles." Again, and I hate to harp on this because I don't want to sound like I'm criticizing the women involved, but if they'd just refused a settlement and gone to court with this, maybe some of these people would've been forced to testify under oath and the truth would've come out.
  17. This is why they need to have something criminal against him and not just a mountain of misogynistic comments. If they can prove something that's criminal, him threatening to sue for being ousted won't carry much weight. If they can't find or prove something like that, he'll survive all this.
  18. The only thing that was really new and noteworthy was the sexual assault charge from Tiffani (forget her last name). That's what people will run with if anything, and that seems like a pretty big deal. However, the extent of what happened seems to be Snyder touching her thigh and pushing her toward his limo then letting her go. Is that enough to get something to happen? I don't know. Was glad to see one of the congressman talk about the video needing to be found and pursued more, too. The stories these women shared were awful, but the cold truth is that almost all of them are easy for the team to say, "We changed that, we fired the people responsible, we are not that way anymore, so change has happened" line. You heard some of those congressmen use that line themselves today. Without incidents that directly tie back to Snyder himself in a criminal way, nothing more will likely happen. I hope those women especially aren't too devastated by what happened today. While they got a lot of support, it was terrible seeing them being told that basically their stories were trivial compared to other world issues, same things happen to many others, nothing will happen as a result of this committee, etc.
  19. So now it becomes clear that the cheerleaders settled and signed NDAs about the videos. That absolutely sucks. As Melanie Coburn says, that could be/probably is a crime. Should've been pursued fully. Was probably the best chance they had to get Snyder out.
  20. What's sad, though, is he was right when he said whatever he may have tweeted doesn't change the facts about what they're talking about. It just makes him look bad but doesn't necessarily discount what he said. With all the talk about "this belongs in a court," though, it just brings me back to the whole cheerleader video scandal. I so wish they would not have settled. That was something that would've been hard for Snyder to overcome if they proved in a court that he asked for those to be made. No matter how many misogynistic comments are brought up, that's not going to lead to anything that hasn't already happened.
  21. Geez, you'd think they'd vet that before going before this committee. Someone is clearly working behind the scenes to discredit these people. And in this case, they succeeded.
