  1. The tape is extremely mild and tame, relatively speaking. Not much different than reading a news article about it. But it contains further clues and details for those interested.
  2. That's what I thought too. But with so many people acting like there's been a career funeral, I just assumed it was over
  3. Why would this thread be bumped ? Could it be because AGG is campaigning for the team to draft his 2019 Liberty teammate as QB ? EDIT : NEVERMIND, I see that we cut him
  4. I was curious how Denver ended up drafting higher than us ; considering they have the same record as us, and they beat us. I assume because there was a tie with 3 or more teams, so head to head didn't come into play there.
  5. Here's an audio recording of the 911 call https://www.tmz.com/2022/01/07/deshazor-everett-frantic-911-call-car-trapped-trees/
  6. Definitely McCain. And Carter too. All the guys with names of Presidents or Presidential candidate names. Was there a President named Humphries ? If so, we should bring him back too. As long as we don't name ourselves the Presidents.
  7. Who would have guessed that a guy that bounced around a half dozen teams, and hardly caught a pass, ever, and signed a one year minimum wage contract, would be far more productive than Samuel and his crazy package of millions ? And who would have guessed Carter would have been our 2nd best WR. With guys like Carter and McCain, we did well with getting production out of low cost FA's. Hope we can bring them both back. Next year, looking forward to having Bates and Thomas on the field at the same time.
  8. Doesn't look like any of the draft choices or even the NFL free agents will improve us at QB in 2022. The only possibility is through a trade, but that's highly unlikely either because the trade for certain players is unlikely, or the players that we're more likely to trade for, may not likely be an upgrade. So I don't expect major changes at QB next year. Mariota was a name mentioned last offseason. I might be interested in that, if the scenario was right.
  9. Tanking to get a couple slots higher in the draft, isn't always the best thing to do for your draft. And it's not worth stressing over, if it's such a small number of slots. Because of the fact that the draft is such a crapshoot. You could actually end up with a better player by picking a couple slots later. The player rated a couple slots higher could easily and commonly become a disappointment or even a bust. It's not an exact science. For example, the 13th pick can easily turn out better than the 9th overall pick. Just gotta take what the draft gives you and not overthink it or stress about getting the worst possible record, because of the misguided belief that that always nets you a better player. Then there's the fact that losing more games may hurt your chances to re-sign your own FA, or other teams' FA's On top of all that, I'm a firm believer in the concept of "learning how to win" as a team.
  10. Drafting at the #11 spot means that we are the #1 team, in the bottom third of the league ! Time to celebrate that greatness.
  11. I havn't looked at all the details, but at a quick glance, doesn't some of the responsibility lie with the Chargers DC, and not just the HC, for not having the right personnel and scheme on the field at that time ?
  12. And an even larger element to this, was the fact that Bisaccia is essentially auditioning for a HC job. And his resume would look a lot better, ending the season with a win against the LAC, than backing into the playoffs with a tie.
  13. Kerrigan is up there. Maybe not as far as total quantity of games. But otherwise... He didn't miss a single game, in his first 8 years. And only missed 4 or 5 games, in 11 years And he's not done yet. Even though, most likely he is done
  14. They potentially could end up playing them both, anyway. The road to the Super Bowl always travels through the best teams in your Conference. I know. Profound thought, right ?
  15. So much so, that this game felt like old-time Oakland vs San Diego to me !!!
  16. Even if you don't like the Raiders, you have to respect them, Bisaccia specifically, for having the guts to do that, and not take the easy way into the playoffs.
  17. and we also beat the #2 seed in the NFC, which actually tied the #1 seed
  18. I guess the Raiders like the Steelers a lot more than they like the Chargers.
  19. Why don't they have a live cam in Roethlisberger's living room, right now ? 😁 They want ratings don't they ?
  20. Don't they still keep playing until time expires, or another score, in that case ?
  21. So, Feiler, the ex-Steeler on the Chargers is the one that committed the penalty that brought back the big play by the Chargers. So the fix is actually to help the Steelers get in.
  22. What makes this potential tie even crazier in its chances, is what's the likelihood of a weird score like 29 points, being the tie amount. Or even 32 points, if it ends that way
