  1. I was there at the game with my boy who is a 49er fan. We kept it close for the half and then lost which made it more enjoyable given the fact I have been tooting for a better pick.  Forbes was on their 5th string wr for a good part. And when he lined up against deebo or aiyuk well lt was clear he couldn't stop them. Purdy didn't have his best game but I noticed we didn't run many deep safeties. We were playin to stop the middle of the field. Worked for a good amount and run defense looked serviceable but 0 pass rush.

I am so tired of Griffin's injury as seen as the only reason he failed.  He failed because he failed to learn to play the position. I clearly remember a pic in the Post of Griffin standing in a clean pocket with 5 open receivers circled. The caption read:  "Griffin took a sack on this play. I have no idea why".

It had nothing to do with the injury.

There's equal blame and multiple reasonings for rg3 failing. But to take rg3 out of my post as the main substance when I said lesser extent rookie rg3. We had kirk as our qb that we failed to secure

Im all for the OL. But we’ve had Trent Williams and Chris Samuel and nothing to show for it because we’ve never had the QB.

I mean in all fairness. We did have kirk. Our best qb in last 25 years by a long shot but we screwed that whole ordeal up because Bruce Allen. Which is the culprit of why we don't have trent. And to a lesser extent rookie rg3 was a highly regarded prospect who dazzled his rookie year until his knee imploded due to the field. And bad coaching om Shanahan not benching him sooner.

I always reflect back on Philly sitting Hurts and other starters against us when their season was over. It wasn't a top 5 pick. But it got them Davonte Adams. Yeah, they Giants lost their **** over it. But it worked out for the Eagles. The tank is real and thank God San Fran will curb stomp whoever is QB for us next week. Hopefully by the final game, Ron is instructed to sit starters like Philly did.

    Davonte Adam's? The wr?

We don't and should trade down.

This idea we have to draft an elite player with that pick is a myth in large part because of how much cap space we have and our QB on a rookie contract.

I dont think the logic is we need an elite player because we got a qb and a cheap qb. I'd say it's more on the premise we actually don't have any legitimately elite players and passing on the blue chips for more players has been our m.o. for the last 10 years. You do realize we haven't fielded a 1st team all pro in idk how long? Trent williams when he was with us was BY FAR the most elite player we have had since who..Sean Taylor? And even he didn't get all pro with us. He was also drafted top 5. I'm not saying that there isn't a chance a trade down, and a player could become all pro selected anywhere in the draft...I would agree. But we've past on the likes of olave, jj watt, and others to trade down. Take the legitimate best player and build the team and let the coaches develop the picks but give them players with the highest ceiling so we can really turn this thing around. Dotson is cool. Olave wa better. Kerrigan was cool...watt going to hof. We need game changers not mediocre players to field.

  6. I must admit...I thought Scott turner offense was bad. Bur not once have I seen EB draw up a player that left a wr completely open. I am revisiting the thougjt of I wonder what it would look like if Sam howell stayed under turners offense and ran it this year cause we smoked the boys last game of the year
