got lucky Barkley was WIDE open in the lower part of the screen. We played like 20 yards off of him on 3rd and short lmfao
Classic defense of Washington

We got the defense to stop the 9ers for majority of the game...we don't have the offense to beat their defense at all. They gonna press blitz and sit in inside 10 15 yards and Taylor gonna struggle....its not gonna be good.

Yeah, it’s Scott Turner who’s holding back Heinicke lol…No you're right. It's not like Scott turners offense doesn't call for 7 step drops from the shotgun for slants and hitches. Totally elite.
Changing an offensive approach to do only what heinicke can do doesn't make Scott turner any better than what he actually is and done. Thats what he should be able to do at the BARE MINIMUM
His offense still runs multiple people in the same area. Goes 5 wide and its a screen 90% of the time. 7 step drops from shotgun for quick passes is absolutely asinine and yet were winning because we run the ball 85% of the time. Did yall forget what that offense looked like AFTER JAX? I will say with all the misdirection and motion that it is a good offense and wish he kept doing that the entire year but we know he didn't do that. We all were asking where was the Samuel sweeps and quick screens or hand offs and motions etc etc. I will say though him going back up into the booth things have looked tremendously better. And yes I'd like a better qb but I am concerned that with a better qb the offense doesn't look the same and turner goes back to doing turner things

Actually how dangerous could this entire team be with a franchise QB lol...Defense would be pinning its ears back by the middle of the 2nd quarter.
We still got Scott turner as oc so I doubt that we would be winning by that much

Idk but I'm sure that new returner gonna be better than milne

If Wentz was behind center right this very moment running as heavy as we do km sure the results would be fairly similar.
-
Why can't we put in Howell

D is balling right now but this offense is putrid....PUTRID

Anyway qbs throw contested passes all the time! Rarely are you gonna see someone wide open especially during a 2 minute drill unless the defender slips and falls. Gilmore is no scrub so while Terry was open for a second or two, he recovered pretty quickly.
Sure Taylor or Tyler according to Robert Smith (who is awful to listen to by the way) doesn’t have a strong arm but he was also scrambling for a good while and kind of back peddling when he threw it. He threw it into the vicinity of Terry giving him a chance. I’m 100% fine giving your number one a chance to make the play especially at that time of the game. Oh if he throws it further into the endzone, I don’t know if Terry comes down with it.
Rarely? Do you only watch our games? That might explain the rarely aspect if so. Short term of this fan base...lol I remember seeing wide open Etienne over thrown first game completely wide open no body even remotely close. There are multiple times a game somebody we play against has people WIDE open. Define rarely please. Concerning the open for a second or two...that is the definition of wide open in the nfl and he would of been open longer had heinicke not make Terry have to come back to the under thrown ball BACK into coverage. Gilmore didn't "recover" anything. The ball actually gave Gilmore actual grace because he was beat and the throw making mclaurin come back actually made them both have a chance at the ball.
Sure yeah give him a chance...also factor in the chance of a concussion..or serious injury. Now don't get me wrong..it was a putrid throw that worked out. Am I happy we have mclaurin and it worked out? Sure. Would I of rather not have to see my number 1 have to come back to coverage to make a play after he was open for the td...you bet. But it worked out. So there's that

I watched the eagles go for it multiple times and play action to a free wide open player every time and we.......run right up the gut.

Eagles are running straight man concepts with Bradberry and slay who are great man corners. Josh Norman was a great zone cb but we tried to make him a man corner. Jackson js a good man corner...so in typical fashion we tried to make him a zone corner. If we had bradberry....he'd look the same as wj3. If we had Sherman on our team..he would look just as bad. The problem lies from what I can see is that our coaches refuse to get players and adjust their scheme.

I agree bro...I don't blame entirely.. I blame o line and oc mostly but Wentz gets some blame sprinkled it too. That int at the 1 was an absolute horrible pick that would of won us the game
