Mainly I want Brian's burns st all cost in free agency. He has shown that he is a dynamic pass rusher in the hopes we wanted for sweat or young. Of course we need help too but he needs to be priority one

get a strip sack
How can you put a guy on his back ten times and not knock the ball out once
Really the only one with the knack for game changing plays like that was chase.

You just gotta laugh as this is pure washington football

Man I know its been a joke for years but this forum has been a place for thousands of us. I was getting paranoid like oh no what happened? Why not just start a new site or buy the rights or ask for donations to fund it...in all seriousness

Howell is better than Purdy. Purdy benefits from insane talent around him. His game has gone to doo doo once some of those guys started getting hurt.
I mean listen I am loving howell and think he can be our guy if he keeps this up. But purdy throws with way more anticipation and accuracy. Surrender he does have some benefits of the talent but Sam against the bears, bill,, giants says that he isn't better. Not now atleast.

If Sam has another 300+ yard game next week, it's safe to say a trend in highly positive territory is officially developing. The last QB like that even in this conversation was Kirk Cousins. I'm so happy to have Sam on our team and to think we got him in the 5th round, could be the greatest steal in the draft since Brady. Not even joking.
I mean Brock purdy right now has that on lock taken even lower than Sam. But hey. We might have something

Concerning the OT and all 3. I'm reminded by the okung/trent williams debacle where trent was this super athlete who had a down year with the potential to be better than okung and okung was the "better, safer pick" who would immediately be a great lt.
We picked right when it came to trent and we have a pretty good history drafting linemen, tackles. Give me the guy who has the ability to be tje best lt in the game with a little flaw over the clean prospect who will be good at lt.

Hated losing chase young to the 49ers...I just can't stand that we traded trent williams and he's back to his goat status, they got cmc back to top rb, and now they got chase young with a different scheme next to his college teammate.
I wish Ron fired Jack and let a new dc see what they can do instead of keeping the same status quo knowing that the 4 dl we have doesn't dominate yet they probably should. And we face them later this year

Montez for Pitts and a 3rd

Would love us to fire Ron Rivera like 49ers did Mike Singletary who both if I'm not mistaken on the same tean (85 bears) and hire Jim Harbaugh. Both Singletary and Rivera are the epitome of mediocre at best coached and when Harbaugh took over they immediately became sb contenders

I mean he was always going to take time to develop but when you got 3 or 5 corners coming out as rookies and they all looked good to great to shut down in their own rights and Forbes looks like a child out there amongst grown men, well we picked the wrong one. Man I wanted Gonzales. But you know we usually don't pick those no Brainer picks and when we do we get burned...chase young was the no Brainer. Rg3, Orakpo (he was good just never dominant) etc etc.

The secondary has been horrific and yet he's still not good enough to contribute? It's wild.
Honestly can't be any worse than what Forbes been doing at that

Caleb Williams may not like this year's number 1...what abou in his senior year the same teams he don't want to play for has the number 1. Can't really force 5 teams to be the team he will play for especially those 5 already have purdy, Prescott, cousins, d jones on a huge contract that nobody would trade for and jimmy..which is about the only option left. That plan of his isn't gonna work. He has this year and maybe next to figure out if he wants to be a qb in the NFL or not. I'd draft him and if he wants to be a detriment to the team suspend him for 5 years.

Just imagine if the last 4 years we spent 1st rounders on offense instead of defense. No Forbes. No Davis. No young. Would we be missing anything?

Cowboys just ran a fake kick for 2 instead. Too bad Ron and EB aren't creative like that.
I mean eb wouldn't have anything to do with special teams. You're just looking to trash eb for no reason. Special team coordinators are the ones that design those

2024 Comprehensive Draft Thread
in The Stadium
Posted
For sure you don't trade for him. But who else is on that defense that is helping him? If he gets the chance to market...you got to get him. Especially since there isn't that many top tier talent available and if nobody noticed...we need top talent. We need an entire o line. A te, somebody with hands at receiver.. dbs and de and mlb. If the one thing we learned from gruden to Rivera is...stop with the middle tier players to round a team and get top players when the chance is there. Albeit it being draft or free agency.
