On a different note, does anyone else find it weird how much they kiss up to the Ultimate Warrior? I guess they expect nobody to remember what an a-hole he was once he retired. Forget about how he was as a wrestler. His name being brought up on Raw with the likes of Andre and Bruno was :confused: I get Sting and him go way back, but they coulda scripted any name.

It's not rewritten history, it's perspective. It was a rebuild when Shanny got here, the first couple years were always going to be rough. It was the last one that was problematic.

Apparently, in slow motion, the hurricanrana (sp?) bump she took didn't go as smooth as it may have looked at full speed. She basically fell on her head. But she finished the match and wrestled at SS, but didn't do much. Possibly why her team was quickly eliminated. Speculation is they cut her a break and kept her off RAW to get a breather.

The Divas Revolution needs an actual storyline with some direction. The storyline seems to be throw as many of them in the ring at one time as you can and not much else.

I like seeing the old timers, but just not wrestling. Promos, backstage segments, the occasional physicality, all good. Actual one on one matches. Not so much. But early-mid 40s is still within the acceptable range for most guys who keep in decent shape to be entertaining in the ring.

It's funny how a team whose heyday was 15 years ago is tasked with rejuvenating the tag team division. And this is on top of the last attempt WWE tried a couple years ago, when it was Team Hell No, the Rhodes Scholars, The Usos etc. Sasha was legitimately one of the big winners to come out of Summerslam weekend, and WWE's brilliant idea was to put her on ice for the mega post-SS RAW where the crowd was ready to go nuts for her. Well played WWE.

On the list of things Taker would need to do to turn heel, nut shotting Lesnar and costing Sting aren't gonna do it. He'd have to be more heinous than that. He's unbooable right now. The Horsemen wouldn't have played these games, they would've been waiting to jump him in the parking lot for embarassing the champ. Those were the days. In 2015, it's all what's best for business.

Bubba Ray seems to have gotten back out of the shape he got into in TNA. TNA heel Bubba Ray wasn't bad. And WWE needs more guys that can carry a promo in the ring. Sting loses his only match, pops out of a box and before the night is out, gets rewarded with a title shot on a PPV. Even though the Authority and Champ were disgusted by his actions. Seems legit.

When was Bo Dallas NOT a jobber? I find Bo Dallas the epitome of boring. He doesn't seem to bring much to the table. Whatever he brought in NXT just hasn't translated on the main roster.

Don't you think that if it was in his contract that he would've exercised it? I think the total control thing is a myth. Or at minimum, people misunderstand it. It's probably more an abstract concept rather than a specific thing. Total control in Shanahan's case is that there's no GM making decisions, not that Snyder can't exert his influence at the top of the org chart and overrule him. Rich guys always maintain some control. That's how they stay rich.

He may have been TOLD he had total control, but until he's the one signing the checks, he'd never truly have it. It's nice to say though.

And they should have Wilbon as a weekly call-in guest.

I hear from a couple people that've dealt with him that Bomani is a really cool guy to kick it with. But his on-air persona makes him seem like a snarky, pompous, know-it-all. Not that he has bad takes, necessarily, but his delivery is an acquired taste. And he's just an insufferable a-hole on Twitter. Perfect example, a few weeks back, somebody asked him (probably sarcastically), "Is there anything you're impressed by?" Bomani, for reasons known only to him, responds with "Your mom's cardiovascular endurance." Folks were getting on his case because it was so out of left field and uncalled for. Not that he cared.

They need to go back to Andy and Sheehan on the MMQB. Jason Reid's negativity is killing me.

Remember when they tried two bye weeks about 20 years ago for a season or two? I can't remember specifically why they got rid of it, but it didnt go over as well. That's probably why they didn't go that route when they were arguing for an 28 game season. Maybe it'd be different now.

I don't know if Spidey's going to be in it enough to play that integral a role. I got the impression that Black Panther was substituted into that Spidey role. Because Marvel having access to Spiderman came along further down the line and they already had the script and didn't even have the role cast until halfway through production. Most of the Netflix heroes haven't even been introduced yet. Scuttlebutt was that they'd wind up getting involved in Infinity War some kind of way.

Don't forget, Black Panther is missing. He figures into this somewhere. Maybe playing both sides or neutral, who knows. Well, not really. They based the movie off the Ultimate Fantastic Four from the comics. So Marvel changed it, they just followed their lead.

It's a trick of the angle. Side by side, the top of his head comes to around her cheek. He's short, but he ain't THAT short. Lol. The video of that moment shows it more clearly.

Burgandy and gold aren't really great colors. I don't think I've ever worn gold outside of it being something Redskins related. I don't wear anything Redskins related that's not white, gray, or black. Wearing burgandy and gold outside of the stadium looks stupid IMO. But some updating wouldn't be bad, like how the Broncos and Bucs updated their color schemes and uniforms for the better.

I like that black helmet. I've always thought black should be incorporated in some kind of alternate scheme. Not all black, but some black.

I agree, they're way too bright. It's just an ugly look.
