No Excuses

We might not be there this year either. We're not too far behind Toronto for the 8th seed. This team has enough talent to put together some win streaks that propels them into the playoffs. Especially with Seraphin and Booker getting more minutes, this team will start playing a lot more competitive.

I'll have to keep an eye on Terrence Jones. Sounds like one hell of a prospect. That block by Wall was ridiculous. This team has some SICK athletes. Wall, Booker, McGee, Seraphin, Young... all these guys are a solid core for the future. Add in another high lotto pick and this team will have some serious talent to work with. One thing we need to be careful with is to not go the Portland way. They stacked up so much talent that it's eventually backfired on them now. This is why I like having Gilbert on the team. You need a good balance of veterans and rookies.

Moral victory of the game: the possibility that Yi and Armstrong are permanently entrenched as end of the bench players. There is absolutely no reason they should be getting minutes over Booker and Seraphin. Seraphin is going to develop into a force for this team. The scary thing is that he's this athletic and powerful without any proper weight training. The more he gets pro level conditioning and coaching, the better he will get.

Yi not getting minutes should be a sign of things to come. This team will be deadly with another quality lottery pick talent. In an ideal world we can get Perry Jones and find a sucker who takes Blatche.

Trevor Booker + Kevin Seraphin. I really wouldn't care if that was our starting front line every game for the rest of the year. The intensity Booker plays with is AMAZING. Please Flip please, get these guys in the lineup. Get rid of Yi and Armstrong.

Full man crush on Seraphin/Booker duo engaged. Have not seen this kind of toughness from Wizards big men since... well forever.

Yi should never get on the court for us ever again. Big man rotation: Blatche/Booker McGee/Seraphin/Armstrong Too bad Flip is too much of an idiot to do this.

Look at this ****! Our rookie big men going toe to toe with the best team in the NBA. I have a serious man crush developing on Seraphin. Just a ****ing beast in the middle. Three point game and a huge run as soon as Yi went out and Booker and Seraphin came in. I swear if Yi gets a minute in the fourth, bad things will happen in my studio. PLEASE TRUST THE ROOKIES. Booker and Seraphin are tough mother ****ers.

Seraphin is a warrior. He comes in and he doesn't take **** from anyone. This guy has some serious potential. Yi on the other hand can go **** himself. Sorriest excuse for a big man I have ever seen. Flip Saunders can go **** himself too. Seraphin should be getting 20 minutes a game. Dude is a rock in the middle. You can't push him around in the paint.

You have to be blind not to see the negative effect Yi is having on the court. He is literally a one man suck machine out there tonight. Flip Saunders needs to get the **** out. What are you rebuilding when you don't even play the future (Seraphin and Booker). Yi is such a ****ing loser.

Come on dude seriously? Are you watching Yi on defense? He makes Blatche look like prime Tim Duncan. Yi is the worst big man I have ever seen. He is worse than Kwame and he is worse than Ruffin. His minutes should be going to Booker and Seraphin. We were in this game with Booker at PF and then dumbarse Flip subs Yi back in and the Lakers continue to **** on him on every possession. This is a good game to play Booker, he was doing well against Odom at PF.

Wall and Arenas starting tonight. About damn time. Gilbert is going to have one hell of a time defending Kobe though.

We haven't really seen how the backcourt can do when completely healthy. Wall is finally coming to full health. The Wall-Arenas-Young lineup was killing it in the 2nd quarter. Then dumbarse Flip decides to start the third with Wall-Hinrich-Gee and ran that lineup for 10 minutes straight. It's hard to build consistency with each other when the lineups are all sorts of stupid. I like what Flip has done in terms of player development but in terms of coaching and minute management, he has me craving for Eddie Jordan who was a total moron himself. But at least under EJ we had a top 5 NBA offense. With Flip we stink on offense and are horrific on defense. I'm eagerly waiting for head coach Sam Cassell to take place. Flip can take his jumpshot whoring offensive schemes back to Minnesota.

Four game losing streak and we've lost to some ****ty opponents too. Another putrid offensive performance, we shot 31% from the field lol. :doh: On the other hand, the Wizards are just getting plastered now. Flip is an idiot. He brought in Gil and Young with 3 minutes left in the third. He played Kirk for pretty much the entire third. I don't get this love fest with Kirk. He is nothing but a 20 MPG back up. We play him as if he's a stud.

I'm not sold on Rubio. His play was extremely unimpressive in the FIBA tournament. Anyone watching the game right now? Young is on fire! Wall has 9 dimes and the 2nd quarter isn't even over. Steve Nash is a beast.

Obviously Hilton Armstrong is extremely important to the defensive and rebounding integrity of this team LOL. What a joke. Good thing I missed this game.

If for some reason this trade does happen, it will go down around the All Star break, the same time the Butler and Jamison trades happened last year. I think for half a season, it would be pretty irrelevant having Carter on the roster. The coaching staff won't play him over Nick Young. The only upside to trading Gilbert for expirings is that it frees up a lot of minutes for Nick. Young can be an absolutely dynamic scorer playing next to Wall.

Vince is an expiring contract. Arenas is a perfect fit for Orlando. He's Jameer Nelson on steroids. He does everything Nelson does but much better. Too bad besides Vince's contract, Orlando has nothing to offer us. If we are sending Gilbert away, I'd like to have at least some kind of young talent come back as compensation. JJ Reddick would be nice but Nick Young does everything Reddick does so it's a wash. I would like to see Arenas in Orlando though. I want him to find success in the league once again. He was a dynamic star in DC and he deserves better after being screwed over by the pathetic medical staff.

Hopefully Wall, Howard and Yi are back for the next meeting. Really sucked watching Booker defend Bosh, Blatche being gassed and Hinrich throwing up brick after brick.

Extremely vicious play by Armstrong. I hope the league suspends him for the year. Justice must be served.

Wall will not play. McGee will play but not start. I hope McGee can at least contribute 25 minutes. This is the type of front line he absolutely abuses.
